T: Andito ako sa hotel malapit sa inyo.

B: Sorry about what happened.

T: Ako ang kailangan mag apologize for coming without a warning.

B: I'm sure my Dad naman doesn't intend to be harsh pero kasi hindi ako umuwi for a long time.

T: Wala din ako in that same span of time. Tapos bigla akong darating expecting them to trust me right away, that I can protect their daughter. Huwag ka mag aalala, I will prove to them na tama ang pinili ng anak nila. I love you and I will love your parents.

B: Just give them some time. I know they will accept you. Gusto mo ba puntahan kita?

T: Huwag na, it's late, mapahinga ka na. Hindi ako aalis until I convince your parents.

B: I love you, Thirdy.

T: I love you, too.

In the morning, Thirdy came tulog pa si Elmer and Det. They prepared breakfast for everyone. Nang magising ang mag asawa, they were surprised to find Thirdy in the kitchen

"Good morning Lolo, Lola." Aston greeted them.

"Good morning, apo." Det greeted back.

"Good morning po." Thirdy greeted them.

Inismiran lang sya ni Elmer and left, he went back inside the room, hinabol naman sya ni Det.

"Saan ka pupunta? Halika dito, kakain na tayo n breakfast."

"Ayoko kumain."

"Hindi pwede, halika dito at umupo ka." Det commanded.

"Lolo, may dala po si Papa na breakfast for us."

"Healthy po lahat ng mga foods na yan. Highly recommended po sa akin kaya yan ang binili ko para sa inyo." Thirdy explained.

Sinubuan ni Aston ang Lolo nya na ikinatuwa din naman ng bata.

"Alam mo favorite nya yan eh but because we're old, it gets hard to travel already." Det explained.

"I'll arrange a car and a driver para po sa inyo starting today para makapunta kayo kung saan nyo gusto."

"I don't want to to anywhere." Elmer stubbornly said.

"Stop being stubborn, darling. Let's enjoy this time na kasama natin ang anak natin and Aston."

"Dad." Bea called for his attention but didn't say anything.

"How are your parents pala, Thirdy?" Det asked.

"I was raised by a single parent. I lived alone with my Mom po. Kaya po I want to make this right for Bea and Aston and I hope that you give me the chance."

"You can't gain our trust with just breakfast." Elmer said and left.

"Hayaan na natin muna sya, masama kasi pakiramdam nya kaya siguro wala gana kumain." Det explained.

Bea looked at Thirdy, feeling sorry. Thirdy looked at her, hopeful.

Sinundan ni Thirdy and Bea si Elmer sa park where he frequents to play chess with his friends.

"Hindi mo naman kailangan gawin ito eh." Bea told him.

"I've decided already, I will do anything para lang matanggap nya ako."

Nang matapos na maglaro si Elmer, Bea handed him the chess set  Thirdy got for him. Pagbukas nila, they were all impressed, it was real Jade.

"Dad, Thirdy got this for you."

He left after hearing them from Bea.

Sinundan sya ni Thirdy.

When Elmer looked behind him, tumigil sya nang makita nya si Thirdy sa likod nya.

"Makulit ka talaga."

"Sir, since makilala ko si Bea and Aston, I realized a successful career and a rich life are no match for the reunion of the family. Gusto ko maging masaya si Aston, ayokong maranasan nya ang naranasan namin ni Bea."

Elmer faced him.

"Pinakasalan mo lang ba si Bea because of Aston? O talagang mahal mo ang anak ko?"

"Mahal ko po si Bea."

"Hindi biro ang pag aasawa. Five years ago, you deeply hurt her and our family. Ngayon na mag asawa na kayo, ayoko nang masaktan pa sya ulit."

"Pinagsisihan ko din na wala ako sa tabi ng aking mag ina for the past 5 years at dahil dito, you can be assured of po that I will cherish Bea and Aston all the more. Ipinangako ko na simula ng araw ng kasal namin, proprotektahan ko ang pamilya ko and my marriage, be loyal to my wife. I will never part from her, ever."

"As a true gentleman, you should be true to your words. Pag nasaktan mo ulit si Bea, hindi kita papakawalan until you pay for it. Naintindihan mo ba?"

"Makakaasa po kayo." He agreed with a smile.

Bea went to them went she saw Thirdy looking at her.

"What's up?" Tanong ni Bea.

"Pumayag na Daddy mo."

Bea was elated. She went up to her Dad and gave him a hug as a sign of thank you.
