A Child's Best Interest (Completed)

Bumagsak pagkakita sa bangkay, he was down on his knees.  Agad pumasok si Anton nang may narinig na kalabog galing sa loob.

Thirdy was relieved that it wasn't Bea.

Inalalayan sya ni Anton hanggang maka abot sila sa bahay.

"Thirdy, isipin mo ang anak mo. Hindi mo pwedeng gawin ito sa sarili mo. I'm really sorry na ganito ang kinahantungan nyo at walang Mama ang apo ko, all because of me." Mozzy said.

He received a call from MJ, gusto makipagkita sa kanya. Hindi alam ni Thirdy what has gotten into him, pero pumayag sya.

On that same spot where he broke up with her, ngayon magkaharap na naman silan dalawa.

"Mahal mo sya talaga, noh?" MJ asked him.

"Mahawakan ko lang ulit ang kamay nya hindi ko na sya papakawalan."

MJ gave him an envelope.

"Ano ito?" Thirdy asked him.

"Look at it, baka makatulong sa'yo."

When Thirdy opened it, it was Bea's picture, may kausap na mga bata. Her pregnancy already visible.

"Saan mo nakuha ito? Where did you find her?" Thirdy asked her.

"Ambassador ako ng foundation na yan and from what I was informed, volunteer sya dyan sa isang remote area sa North. Anjan ung address sa likod ng photo." MJ said.

Dali daling tiningnan ni Thirdy ang address.

"She looks peaceful. She has forgotten her pain kung asan sya ngayon."

Thirdy non stop thanked her for giving him  leads as to Bea's whereabouts. 

Maaga pa ay nagsimula na sya sa palakbay para hanapin si Bea.

"Mag ingat ka, Kuya at ibalik mo dito ang hipag ko. Ako na ang bahala sa negosyo at pamilya natin." Anton told him.

"Sigurado ka ba ayaw mong samahan kita?" Ivan asked him.

Thirdy laughed at him and shooked his head.

"Kami na ang bahala dito kay Aston, concentrate on your mission at umuwi kayo soon." Sabi naman ng Daddy nya. 

"Mama, aalis na po ako." He told Mozzy.

"Do everything you can to bring home my daughter-in-law."

And he left, full of hope.

Pagdating nya sa foundation, he immediately made negotiations with the head and discussed how his company can help the foundation without mentioning about anything regarding his real intent for coming. Hinayaan nya ang head and makwento about their volunteers kung saan isa dito si Bea.

"Meron kami dito isa din volunteer, si Miss Bea, she's showed lots of concern sa mga bata dito that most of them has greatly improved."

"I think, we should all learn from your volunteer." Sagot ni Thirdy.

"Gusto ko nga sana sya magstay sa mas maayos na lugar but this community is very poor. Inspite of her delicate pregnancy, she still insisted on staying in that shabby dorm."

"Pwede nyo po ba ako itour dito sa lugar nyo?" Thirdy asked.

"Oo naman, halika para makita mo ang buong lugar."

Una syang dinala sa outdoor study area that Bea 'built' for the kids. Kung saan sinasabit ng mga bata ang mga hopes ands dreams nila sa puno. 

Luckily, Bea and the kids were there. Kahit nakatalikod, Thirdy can't help but be mesmerized at the image of his wife.

"I'll give each one of you a card where you have to put on your ambitions and goals and we will be working on them for you to achieve them." Bea instructed the kids.

"Can I also have a card?" Thirdy asked.

Napahinto si Bea recognizing the voice.

Dahan dahan syang tumingin kung saan galing ang boses.

There she saw Thirdy standing behind her, wearing his sweetest smile.

"Kids, continue what you're supposed to do and I'll see you later." Paalam nya sa mga bata.

Agad syang nilapitan ni Thirdy.

"What are you doing here? Diba sabi mo wala na tayong kailangan sa isa't isa?" Bea asked him.

"I'm sorry." Thirdy said.

"What for? May ginawa ka bang mali? Umalis ka na dito, umuwi ka na sa inyo, hindi ka bagay dito. I just want to live peacefully on my own." She said as she started to walk away.

Bago matulog, she decided to go back to the tree to read the children's wishes, goals and ambitions pero may isang papel that caught her eye. She recognized the handwriting to be Thirdy's.

I hope the woman I love can forgive me. I hope she can give me one last chance and let me spend the rest of my life making it up to her.

And just like that, Thirdy appeared. Face to face with her.

"Bei, since nabasa mo un wish card ko among all the others baka sign un that we're really meant for each other."

"Stop trying to save this relationship, hindi na ako interesado dun. Umuwi ka na, it's over for us."

The following morning, Thirdy woke up but Bea was one, again. Mabuti na lang at nakita nya ang head ng foundation who told him na umalis si Bea with her things and directed him to the nearest bus stop.

Pagdating nya, pasakay na si Bea, he was just in time kaya tumakbo na sya para pigilan sya.

"Bea! Please, sandali!"

Bea just looked at him.

"I know hindi ako nakining sayo nung ikaw ang nakiusap but please give me a chance, para sa pamilya natin, for this little one inside your womb at para kay Aston na naghihintay sa pabalik mo araw araw."

Umuwi silang sabay, everybody was so happy to see Bea again lalo na si Aston.

"Mama, why is your tummy big?"

"Diba sabi mo gusto mo ng baby sister, eto na sya. Soon you will be playing with her."

"Bea, sana mapatawad mo ako. I judged you." Mozzy told her.

"Let's leave it all in the past po. Magkakasama na tayo lahat and I will do everything para po tayo maging masaya." Bea replied.

"I'm sorry, Bea. As a friend I truly disappointed you, kayo ng kapatid ko. I hope you give me a chance to make it up to you." Anton said and gave her a hug.

"We have to celebrate this, halika na at kanina pa nakahanda ang pagkain." Mozzy announced.

While they all prepared, isa isa na sila nagpunta sa dinner table. Magkabilang hawak ni Bea and Thirdy si Aston but when the little boy felt his Mama's hands slip, napasigaw sya calling for his Mama.

Bea has passed out.
