Chapter 7: Dance

The plan for that night was going to be more of a girls' night out, with a nice restaurant and maybe a few drinks, but after a lot of time cleaning up the mess Emily and Elle made last night, plus the time Jen and Elle spent helping out. decided to cook lunch for the three of them. At the end of the afternoon Elle wanted to go home so she could sleep and Emily preferred to order a pizza for her and Jen who also preferred to sit in the living room petting Sergio and talking about random subjects like her funny conversations with Penélope, Elle's last trip , Reid and Emily or about some funny moment between Reid and Hotch who lived practically a father and son relationship.

— Your hair is beautiful!

Emily said as she watched a relaxed Jennifer eating pizza with her hands while her blonde hair was tied in a messy bun with a few strands falling over JJ's face which made her even prettier.

— Thanks Em, but your hair looks so much prettier! Bangs suits you!

Jen blinked copying the face Derek made when flirting with someone, which made Emily let out a loud laugh.

— Oh! Thank you!

Emily messed up her bangs eliciting a sweet laugh from JJ, she loved JJ's laughs. She leaned over and picked up her glass of juice sipping a little while listening to the music playing in the background, on the last Valentine's day Pen had given her a dvd that said "so your next date is perfect, kisses Penelope" and a small drawn heart that made Emily smile so sincerely when she realized that she was so lucky to have someone like Pen in her life, she loved her best friend Elle but she knew that in terms of the best hug Penelope was second only to JJ. Since she entered the BAU it was hard to make mental lists of who she loved the most there, because everyone was so amazing to her, they were almost like her brothers.

— Okay I'm going to take this to the kitchen, do you want wine or anything else?

Emily asked while silently rethinking about drinking alcohol again in less than 24 hours!

— I think you've already hit your drink limit for a weekend.

JJ spoke as if she and Emily shared the same mind, the two exchanged two low laughs.

— Yeah you're right!

Emily laughed and took the pizza box to the kitchen, putting it in the fridge along with the bottle of juice. She opened one of the drawers in the kitchen cupboards and took her cigarette and lighter as she walked into the living room, she went first to open the windows and then threw herself on the sofa next to JJ who was petting Sérgio who was sleeping in your lap.

— Do you mind if i smoke a little?

— No, Em!

Emily lit her cigarette and laid her head back on the sofa, inhaling a little before taking it from her lips and exhaling smoke upwards, not noticing Jennifer's eyes beneath her! Jennifer didn't know why but her heart began to follow the beats of the music that played in the background while her eyes were locked on a mesmerizing Emily Prentiss, with her bangs spread across her face, the strands of hair falling back leaving Emily's neck exposed, incredibly sexy her neck looked straight and exposed as she smoked. Emily wasn't the first girl he'd been interested in but JJ knew she shouldn't feel that way, not because Em was a woman but because the day before she'd been in bed with her boyfriend, Will, the only person she should be making feel that way. Emily shifted, putting her legs on the couch and turning to look at JJ only to catch her staring so intently at her and for a minute she thought Emily was returning that longing look, but her thoughts on that were cut short.

— All good?

— Yeah..I just...

Jen shook her head thinking of an excuse while looking at the cigarette between Emily's fingers, maybe that wasn't a good excuse?
