Chapter 9: Eyes

— Morgan faster!

Emily said nervously, they had discovered that the suspect was Tobias Hankel and that unknowingly JJ and Spencer went to his house and now they was in danger. Morgan was driving, Hotch was in the next seat, Elle and Emily was in the back seat, Emily was clutching her gun tightly, she hoped Reid and JJ didn't do anything stupid she didn't want her friend and the woman she loves in danger.

— I'm going as fast as I can Prentiss, we can't help it if we get into a car accident!

Elle was also nervous for reasons she couldn't share like Emily, but she was nervously tapping her foot as she prepared to get out of the car as soon as Derek got to Hankel's house. The two looked at each other for a few seconds before they felt the car stop and simply quickly got out of the car before Hotch and Derek even did. Morgan, Prentiss, and Elle started toward the balcony at the back of the property as Hotch and Gideon entered Hankel's house.  The first three gripped their guns tightly as they walked up to the counter, they started shining the flashlight across the room finding the three dogs dead on the floor, Elle crouched down next to one of them seeing what had killed them as Morgan approached the place where the victim had been killed seeing her remains, while Emily was looking for JJ and Reid.

— FBI!

JJ yelled as he came out from behind one of the counter stalls, pointing the gun at the three of them and the cops who were accompanying them.

— JJ! JJ, it's Morgan!

— Don't move!

JJ screamed still in shock as Emily and Elle slowly approached her.

— JJ, it's Morgan, Elle and Prentiss don't shoot!

JJ started to wake up from her shock state, lowering her gun slowly as she looked around, Elle approached one of the dogs again while Morgan touched Jennifer's arm slowly to calm her down.

— It's okay. Are you hurt?

Morgan asked her.

— Tobias Hankel is the UnSub.

Jennifer said nervously, Elle started to walk around looking for Reid while Emily watches JJ noticing that she was not well.

— Yeah, we know! Where's are Reid?

Elle asked as she looked around, starting to get nervous not seeing Spencer.

— And we just thought he was a witness. I had to kill them!

JJ said as he saw Morgan look at one of the dead dogs that was next to them.

— JJ, where's Reid?

Elle asked once more.

— They just completely tore her apart. There's nothing even left.

Jennifer said out of her mind still, her mind lost in the image of the dogs advancing to bite her.

— JJ, look at me. Look at me.

Emily said holding JJ's hand, the blonde looked at their hand together and taking a deep breath squeezing Emily's hand as if she was making sure she was real, but soon Elle held her shoulder making Jennifer look at her.

— Where's Reid?

— Oh, we split up. He said he was going to go around back.

Morgan and Elle nodded in agreement before running out of the place, as one of the police officers informed Emily that he had called the ambulance, she patted JJ's hand calmly, getting her eyes attention again.
