"What?" My blood shoots up to my cheeks. "Do you like me?" Sunghoon repeats his question. He looks down on his thighs, I never saw him that shy.

Finally he looks at me after I give him a silence as an answer, his lips formed into a straight line. I smile benignly at him. Sunghoon clears his throat, "I know you said we shouldn't fall for each other but I just couldn't help and fall for you. I'm sorry if you feel uncom-" I cut him off with a hug, "thank you." I mumble as he giggles and hugs me back.

"She was losing her mind because she thought you didn't like her." Horang rolls her eyes when I quickly stop hugging him. "I was going to ask her today anyway." We raise our eyebrows as he smiles and winks at me. Sunghoon gets off the bed and looks at Horang, "are you going to join us? I brought something to eat." – "FOOD!" I scream rushing into the kitchen.

"Rude that she just left." I talk while chewing. Sunghoon makes a disgusting sound, pressing a napkin on my mouth, "don't talk while eating." He shakes his head, I roll my eyes. "Want to go on a date?" He now asks, making me choke. I quickly take a few sips from my drink, shrugging my shoulders, "I'm free." He smiles at me and I look at him smiling.

"Did you know that Australia is wider than the moon?" – "Hm?" I look up to Sunghoon as he is looking on his phone. if he would drop his phone right now, it would drop on my face.
After eating, I laid my head on his lap when he just went on his phone. "I have a friend who lived in Australia." He informs, making me get up. "Really? I used to always go to Australia when I was younger." – "Should I invite him over one day? With my other friend?"
Out of the blue?
I lay back on his lap as I shrug, "if you want to, I don't mind."

"Why are we here?" I stay in the car when Sunghoon is about to go out, "you said you love taking walks the other day. Quick, the sun is about to set!" He unbelts me, getting out. This feeling is so new...but at the same time it isn't.

We walk down the pebble beach as Sunghoon takes my hand. "Is this okay?" He asks before grabbing it tighter. I nod looking up to him and in silence we keep walking, while other couples and families have fun. I look around, seeing the sun about to set, hearing the waves coming forth and back, crashing with other bigger or smaller waves.

Just then I think back to us. We are just like waves, that crashed with each other, bringing us to this situation we are in.

Sunghoon suddenly starts laughing, making me look at him, "what's so funny?" – "We're walking in silence, even though we wanted to talk." He looks down, smiling. I also smile and nod, agreeing. "Let's sit down, the sun is setting." I sit down on the dry pebbles and look up to Sunghoon, he follows and sits down next to me. I lay my head low-key on his shoulder while he caresses my hand with his thumb.

Our eyes are fixed on the sun, the waves, the pebbles higkey mirroring the sun, due to the wetness. But my mind just goes back to Sunghoon.

"Rebounds never work as just rebounds." I realise and get up from his shoulder, empathizing the 'just'. "Now that I think of it, you're kinda right." Sunghoon leans on his palms but stops right away, making a hurting face, "hurts on the pebbles. Sand would be good." He smiles at my statement. "Should we go on a beach? A sand beach? What about Jeju?" I laugh a little, "are we going on our honeymoon?" I make a shocking face, making him get up a little to stand on one knee, like he would be proposing.

Sunghoon clears his throat before he laughs a bit, "Eura," he changes his voice making me laugh "I want you and just you. Are you ready to spend your life in my two room apartment and my dog?" He looks up, noticing he forgot to mention himself, "and me of course." I play along and get up, hands falling infront of my mouth, fake tears being wiped off. "Yes! With all my might!" I fake cry and get on his level to look at him.

Seconds later we start laughing, looking at each other, "that was a good act." He compliments, while we're still sitting in that position. I was about to fall so I put my hands on his knee as he holds them to give me extra reassurance.

We start looking at each other in silence again. It's one of our things. We always find ourselves in a situation where we just look at each other and it's completely silence.

Slowly Sunghoon approaches my face with his hand, "jokes aside, can we start spending our lives together?" He asks, catching me off guard. My heart starts beating faster and I feel hot. I gulp before answering, "okay." I don't even breathe out and his lips are already on mine.

Desirously he's kissing me as I give it back. I'm still sitting in a crouch in front of him while he adjusted himself to sit on his knees. It hurted, I could feel it with the little pause from between the kisses. Sunghoon brushed off the pain and brushed some hair from my face.

It was incredible. Unbelievable. Just like a dream. The first kiss as a couple, while the sun is setting into a pretty pink.

He definitely did more than just rebounding.

Kissing sounds fill up the air. Sunghoon pins her on the wall as Eura has her hands around his neck. Still standing next to the housedoor, they can't stop to disconnect their lips.

After watching the sunset on the beach, they had decided on going back home. A movie night was planned - just like usual nights - but both didn't know they would end up like this.
What they also didn't know was that Haru planned Euras birthday party and was waiting for her in Sunghoons apartment, with the others.

Eura and Sunghoon get interrupted by a cake falling on the ground. They look at each other and follow the sound, seeing three jaws dropping onto the floor. "Oh, we're fucked." Eura whispers to Sunghoon who's still catching for air, standing next to her, "no doubt."

"Happy belated birthday?" Jay fills the air, which is covered in awkwardness. "OH SO THAT'S WHY YOU GUYS ARE HERE!" Eura exclaims, hitting her forehead. Sunghoon just laughs and shakes his head. Haru looks down to the cake, "I lost my appetite." – "The cake is gone anyway." Horangs eyes also land on the floor. "Let me-" – "No, it's okay. I'll do that. You sit on the couch." She avoids Euras eyes. Eura squints them and sits down on the couch. Next to her she pats the spot for Sunghoon to come over.

"Why don't we just celebrate tomorrow? It's late and some people have other plans." Haru asks, whispering the last part. "Good idea, we'll get going." – "No, wait-" Eura wants to stop them however Sunghoon stops her and follows the others to the door. "Have....fun." Jay says before leaving. Sunghoon knows he just judged his whole life, which is why he smiles at Jay.

"I didn't know the party was," he finds Eura sleeping on the couch peacefully and laughs a bit at the sight "today." He finishes his sentence as he brings her to the bedroom and falls asleep next to her on the bed, caressing her hair and just staring at her, before he fully fell into a deep sleep.
