Five screams in pain, just as the final guardian lands on its feet in the center of the lobby floor. It snarls, throwing its blade into Klaus's stomach before throwing a smoke bomb or something at Viktor, Allison, mom, and dad, which sends them flying. Next, the guardian whips its blade at Ben, sending him to the ground just like it did mom, dad, Allison, Viktor, and Klaus.

Sloane grabs me, yanking me behind her, as dad, who wasn't knocked out like mom, Viltor and Allison and wasn't seriously injured like Ben, Klaus, and Five, jumps up, and ducks under the guardian's sickle. "Dad!" I yell as the guardian punches my father in the face instead, sending him sprawling.

I choke on my tears as the guardian walks up to Sloane and pushes her away like nothing. "Sloane!" I yell. The guardian raises his sickle at me, snarling. I'm next. Doomed to join the rest of my family who is dying on the ground.

The guardian takes a step closer to me, but I realize something. I have access to seven different powers that are actually useful. Fuck your seven bells, Reggie, I think as I blink to be behind the guardian.

Using Sloane's gravity, I fling the guardian into the wall, as my feet lift off the ground and my eyes start glowing blue. The guardian gets up, looking up at me before throwing its blade at me. With ease I redirect it, sending the sickle clattering to the ground instead.

Again, I blink behind the guardian, my feet back on the floor as an energy wave sends the guardian flying in the direction of the stairs. I swear, from somewhere, I can hear Reginald mumble, "My God."

The guardian stands, swinging its sickle in circles as it looks at me, menacingly growling. His mask has flown off, revealing the sponge-like, bug-infested face beneath. I tilt my head, which I can only imagine looks badass. He doesn't look all that intimidating now.

As it throws its sickle at me again, a tentacle catches it. Like it has a mind of its own, the tentacle wraps around the chain, pulling the guardian closer to me. It thrashes in the tentacle's hold, unable to escape, or call upon its weapon.

"I heard a rumor that you can't move," I say. The guardian stops thrashing, and the tentacles disappear. Wow, I didn't actually think that would work. I stagger away from the guardian, out of breath, as my eyes, go back to their natural color.

Please be over. Please. I think to myself as I walk backward, away from the guardian. I'm tired, and out of breath, and if that stupid thing starts moving again I'm out. I'm about to turn around when the metal creaks. Of fucking course.

The guardian turns, looking me dead in the eye as it pulls its sickle back in. I close my eyes. Might as well accept my fate, right? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I await my end, but it never comes. What does come though, is a thunderous crash.

I open my eyes, only to find that the guardian now lays flat on its face at my feet. I almost burst out laughing, but don't as I feel a hand on my shoulder. Without thinking, I whip around and kick whoever it is in the dick.

"Oh, my God! I'm so sorry- Know what? Never mind, I'm not." I say after realizing it's just Reginald.
