you can't see it but you can feel it.

The teens were now alone, only silence and the crashing sounds of the waves was heard, until Tuk spoke.

"You said your name was Selene, right?" the little girl asked smiling, Selene nodded "My name is Tuktirey, but you can call me Tuk".

"Nice to meet you, Tuk" the foreign girl said amused at the enthusiasm of the young girl.

"My name is Tsireya and this boy here is my older brother Aonung, I'm sorry for what he said earlier on your name..." the Metkayina said ashamed of her brother's behavior.

"There's no need, I'm used to that kind of stuff" Selene smiled, Tsireya seemed like a kind girl.

"My name is Kiri, I am Tuk's older sister" the girl said before elbowing the boy next to her.

"Kiri!" the hunted boy said looking at his sister, then he looked at Selene "I'm Lo'ak, the second born in my family"

"Why so formal?" Aonung asked, but everyone ignored him.

"My name is Neteyam, I'm the oldest" the boy who rescued her introduced himself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all" Selene smiled.

"Why did your clan expel you?" Aonung asked, without even trying to be nice.

"Aonung! You should be nicer!" Tsireya said.

"What if she has done something really bad? Why else would she be expelled from her family?" the boy said.

"I get what you're saying and I understand why you're asking me this, you want to protect your family from a possible killer..." the Lo'Nan nodded "I have no reason to hide this since it's not my fault, but for them...I did the most horrible thing I could do, bringing shame on the whole clan: I was born, and I didn't stop at that...I had the audacity of surviving and keep living" the girl let out a small laugh "Unbelievable, right?"

"They expelled you only because your mom is one of the Sky People?" Kiri couldn't believe what she just heard, Selene nodded.

"And your parents didn't do anything?" Tsireya tilted her head.

"My parents...My mother passed away when I was seven and my dad when I was ten...Both of them are with our Great Mother" Selene looked in the water, avoiding eye contact with everyone.

"I'm sorry..." Tsireya apologized immediately.

"It's alright, you didn't know" Selene smiled again, but this time her smile was forced and barely noticeable.

"Look, the eclipse!" Tuk said pointing at the sky, within seconds it was dark and the teenagers looked at Selene open-mouthed from shock, "Wow, you're so pretty, Selene!" the young girl smiled.
