soul dwelling in two bodies.

Selene was at the shore of the beach with the other teens, it was officially her first day of training to live like a Metkayina.

"See this transparent fluid here? It's called water, can you repeat after me? Wa-te-r" Aonung laughed at his own words.

"Did you spend all night up trying to pronunce the words 'transparent fluid', Aonung?" Selene smirked "because this don't seems the type of words present in your daily vocabulary."

"Pff" Lo'ak laughed while Tsireya tried to hide her smile behind her hand.

"You know that we have water in the caves, right? We have little lakes underground, unbelievable" the Lo'Nan laughed.

"Oh, I thought you didn't, given how you stink I thought you had never washed up in your life" the Metkayina boy crossed his arms.

"Are you sure you aren't talking about your own breath, fish lips?" Selene did the same movement.

"I think that's enough" Neteyam put himself between the two Na'Vi who were glaring at each other.

Lo'ak put his arm over Selene's shoulders "We are now partners in crime, and with crime I mean causing problems to Aonung" the boy held out his fist.

Selene bumped his fist and smiled "Whenever you want, bro."

"Why do I feel like you two together are a menace to society?" Kiri tilted her head.

"You're probably right" Selene smiled while Neteyam sighed, Selene looked like a quiet girl the day before to him, maybe she was just tired and was showing her true colors only at that moment.

"I think we should start with diving lessons" Tsireya said "Selene, for how long can you hold your breath?"

"I'm not sure, but it's much time" the girl moved her hand in the water.

I used to hide in the underground lakes for long, underwater.

"Then let's swim!" Tsireya said before diving into the water, everyone did the same thing.

Selene looked around, underwater now, and smiled. The lakes in her home were pretty but nothing could compare to the beauty of the sea. The sea became even more beautiful when you had someone to swim with, friends.

Friends.

Selene was used to having just three friends but now she was swimming in the sea with five other Na'Vi, but were they her friends?

Was Neteyam her friend? The girl started thinking about what had happened that morning, did the Omaticaya understand the real meaning behind her words?

The girl blushed slightly, she had never been so direct with her words, but the boy didn't understand their meaning.

Or he did and was pretending he did not.
