Selene was at the shore of the beach with the other teens, it was officially her first day of training to live like a Metkayina.
"See this transparent fluid here? It's called water, can you repeat after me? Wa-te-r" Aonung laughed at his own words.
"Did you spend all night up trying to pronunce the words 'transparent fluid', Aonung?" Selene smirked "because this don't seems the type of words present in your daily vocabulary."
"Pff" Lo'ak laughed while Tsireya tried to hide her smile behind her hand.
"You know that we have water in the caves, right? We have little lakes underground, unbelievable" the Lo'Nan laughed.
"Oh, I thought you didn't, given how you stink I thought you had never washed up in your life" the Metkayina boy crossed his arms.

Selene looked around, underwater now, and smiled. The lakes in her home were pretty but nothing could compare to the beauty of the sea. The sea became even more beautiful when you had someone to swim with, friends.
