Cyno's POV
Standing there, Cyno watch her fade away from his eyes and his grasp. the sudden shift in his world felt weird. an odd sensation he wishes to never feel again. the words she had spoken to him felt like her words stabbed multiple wounds into his chest.
Why was he feeling so angry all of a sudden? was it anger? was it sadness? or was it just pain?
As he watch (Y/n)'s figure fade away, he placed his hand on his chest and felt his own heart beating fast. faster than usual.
'I hate this feeling,' he thought as he continued on feeling his erratic heartbeat. it's like his own heart wants to jump out of his chest and run after her, but his own mind is stopping him.
His whole head is controlling his body and telling him that she isn't worth chasing after. if (Y/n) wants to leave with that Malik guy, then so be it.
For the past few weeks or months, him and (Y/n) had became distance. he had given her a chance for her to come out and tell him what's wrong, but all she's been doing was shutting everyone out, except that Malik.
Scoffing at the idea, Cyno walked away from his place and glared at the view before him. anyone who walks by could see the frustration radiating off of him. the hard glare and the frown set upon his face.
"If she wants to leave with him, then so be it. she's old enough to take care of herself anyways," Cyno said as he continued on making his path to god knows where.
As both him and (Y/n) walked away from each other, little did they know that was going to be the last day they'll see each other in peace.

'BAM!'
Opening her door harshly, (Y/n) immediately took a random luggage out of her closet and shoved in clothes, shoes, and essential needs. her eyes were blurred with tears as she continued in shoving random things into her luggage. the only thing clogging her mind was that she didn't need Cyno. she doesn't care. if he's going to act like this, then might as well leave sooner.
Sniffing and wiping her tears, (Y/n) thought about the conversation she had with Cyno earlier.
"How could i be so stupid!?" (Y/n) said as she slapped her cheeks repeatedly. "stupid, stupid, stupid!"
Sighing deeply and sitting herself on her now messy bed, she feels her cheeks reddening from the impact she had taken earlier. "why admit your feelings to him when it's so obvious he's with Nilou!?"
(Y/n) could only suffer from the embarrassment and the pain she is feeling right now. her heart crumbling into pieces as she recalled the face expression Cyno had given her.
It was either annoyance or just plain anger.
"What has gotten into me?" she asked herself as she stared outside her window. the night sky showing off the stars who are twinkling above her. the moon saying hello as she stared back in sadness.
While the moon says hello, (Y/n) could only look away in sadness as she thought about her past with Cyno. the way she would confined clung into him whenever they both traveled throughout the night as she was scared of the dark, but knowing Cyno was with her, she knew she was safe.
Recalling another time where Cyno offered to keep a watch out first because he always wanted (Y/n) to sleep or at least take her rest.
Despite the whole conversation/argument they had earlier, (Y/n) can't truly hate Cyno. sure they have their disagreements, but growing up with Cyno had shown her the true Cyno.
A man that may appear cold and mysterious, but he's just someone that loves his home and wants to protect the people he loves.
Unfortunately, he doesn't give the same amount of love to the girl that shares the same love.
Gazing around her room, (Y/n) is now hesitating if she should actually leaves. should she leave her home and her friends with someone she just met for a few months?
Biting her lip, (Y/n) could only decide on one thing.
"I'm going to leave tomorrow."
She has yet to discover new nations and new land in Teyvat. the ones she had read about in books. the land of freedom, the land of eternity, the land of contracts, and so much more.
Not only will she explore new places, but this can give her chance to recollect herself. all she has been doing was moping and thinking about Cyno.
Well not anymore, (Y/n) needs to think about herself for once. she needs to start putting herself first. no matter what.
Nodding to herself, (Y/n) walked towards her wooden desk and sat down. pulling out a feather pen and a blank piece of paper, she immediately wrote down a letter.
Each and every different letter for everyone she's close with. one for Dehya, for Tighnari, one for Candace, and even one for Cyno.
All of these letters will contain a farewell and that she will meet them again soon. as of now, she's going to enjoy her life and focus on herself. despite all the hardships and broken hearts she's been going through, she's finally enjoying her life the way she wants to.
As (Y/n) continues on writing her letters, little did she know that will be the last time for her.
