Part 2

After you left the music store you headed back home still buzzing inside from that short interaction with the pretty boy. 'Eddie' you whispered to yourself looking down at the brown paper bag with the vinyl in it. You hadn't been prepared for that, you honestly didn't think you would be able to feel that little buzz for a long time after all the shit Andrew had put you through. But there was something about Eddie and you couldn't quite put your finger on what it was, but it felt good.

Once you walked through your front door you made your way straight to the record player that sat in the corner of the living room. You put the vinyl in place, moved the pin across and pressed play. You listened to the music and danced around the living room, feeling the happiest you had been in a long time! Around an hour had passed when the phone rang. You stopped the record and skipped over to where the phone hung on the wall by the kitchen and picked up. 'Hello?' , 'Hey loser it's Robin, I'm going to head over to Steve's place around 5, you want me to pick you up?' You looked at the clock sitting on the antique dresser in front of you *4:30* 'yeah sure Rob, I'll be ready in 15', 'perfect, see you soon babe' and she hung up. You placed the phone back on the wall and headed upstairs to get changed into something more comfortable. *4:55* you came back downstairs in a pair of black shorts and a large white T-shirt, white tube socks and sneakers. You just about made the bottom step when you heard a honk from outside. You grabbed your bag a ran out the door locking it quickly behind you. 'Sup sister' you said excitedly hopping into the passenger seat beside Robin. 'You excited?' She asked, 'of course, a chill movie night with old friends...you couldn't beat it with a big stick' you replied leaning in close to robins head putting emphasis on the K, Robin huffed a laugh and pulled out of your drive. You hummed along to the radio with a smile on your face. 'Someone's in a good mood' Robin interrupted your humming, you turned to look at her, 'well...this someone has had a good day' you smirked, 'Do tell!' You told Robin about your day, that you walked into town and met a few people you hadn't seen in a while, how you went into the new music store and...'there was this boy...' you began. 'A boy??' Robin questioned side eyeing you with her lips raised in a smirk, 'a boy' you repeated 'and a cute one at that!' 'A cute boy...' Robin reiterated. 'Yes Robin a cute boy...and I know I'm literally just out of a bad relationship and I have zero intentions of getting into another one anytime soon, but it was nice you know, to feel that excitement, nervousness around someone new...plus I bought a vinyl from him...Dio...his recommendation' you continued, looking towards her. 'Im just happy to see you happy' she smiled before rolling her eyes, 'but Dio? Really? There's only one person I know who likes Dio!' You had pulled up at Steve's house before you could ask her who she was talking about.

You both hopped out of the car, made your way to the front door and knocked. Steve flung the door open and ushered you both inside 'welcome back to my humble abode, I hope you remember where the snacks are' you couldn't forget, Steve had the biggest pantry you had ever seen, stacked floor to ceiling with pretty much any snack you could think of. The three of you walked to the living room! 'You remember the kids right?' Robin asked. You looked down towards the smiling faces sitting on the floor..Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Max and El. 'How could I forget you lot!' You grinned as they all stood up and crowded you in a group hug, you hadn't seen them in a couple of years. 'You've all grown up, almost the same height as me!' you laughed pulling Max in closer to you. 'Where's Will and Nancy?' You asked. Dustin informed you they had moved to California but were coming back in the summer for a few weeks so you'd see them then. After a quick catch up you all settle down  between the couch and the floor and begin flipping through videos trying to pick a movie to watch. Through the chatting you hear a knock at the door. Robin jumped up to answer it.

You wondered who it could be, everyone was here were they not? Had they ordered food?

You heard Robin squeal out a 'Hi stranger' before Dustin also jumped up from his seat on the floor practically running to the door. 'Eddie!!' He yelled.
