That night, Tanith came to Valkyries house to watch movies, while Ghastly went over to Skulduggery's house to chat.

Valkyrie's house

Tanith picked out a movie form the cabinet and put in in the DVD player, while Val was in the kitchen making popcorn, whilst being very confused "I like Ghastly but I love Skulduggery, Skulduggery loves Scarlett and Tanith loves Ghastly" she thought to herself, how was all this going to work. The microwave beeped and she took the popcorn out and joined Tanith in the front room. They were watching Pirates of the Caribbean, and they were drooling over Johnny Depp. Tanith kept looking at Val and eventually asked "Val, whats wrong"

then everything came out "Well, I like Ghastly a bit, but im in love with Skulduggery, but he will never love me because he is with Scarlett, and then you love Ghastly, and I don't really no my feelings for him yet, but I know there, there and I don't want to be with him because then id loose you! Valkyrie yelled and Tanith breathed "Wow, um, ok" she didn't no what to think about what Val had just said "Um, well, just calm down, and lets think about this, yeah?" Val nodded and let her carry on "Well, if your in love with Skulduggery then were going to have to tell him" Valkyries head shot up "Tanith! Are you quite mad? I cant tell him!"

"Why not?"

"Because it could ruin our friendship"

"Yes is could  but that doesn't mean it would"

"I know but, I don't want to risk it"

"Val, if you don't tell him then he, we will never know how he fells about you"

"But im too scared to tell him" Tanith smiled and said "Skulduggery is with Ghastly right? So we could just get him to try and squeeze it out of him" Val heisted and eventually nodded. Tanith grabbed the phone and called Ghastly.

Skul's house

Skulduggery and Ghastly were talking when Ghastlys phone rang. he pulled it out his pocket and answered it "Tanith? whats up"

"Are you with Skul"

"Yes"

"Right, I need you to try and get Skulduggery to confess whether or not he likes Val"

"Um, why?"

"Because Val is in love with Skul" Ghastly was hurt for a minute, but Valkyrie had always liked Skul, and besides he did like Tanith, "OK, ill try" Tanith squealed and said "Thanks, pretend to put your phone away and put it on speaker"

"Will, do, bye" with that Ghastly pretended to end the call and put his phone n speaker and placed it on the table next to him, "What did Tanith want?" Skulduggery asked "Oh, she wanted me to make her some new boots"

"Ah, ok" Ghastly thought of ways that he could try and get this information out of Skul, Ghastly was about to talk when Skul said "Ghastly, im in love with Val, that's why I was in your office before." Ghastly just grinned at this and said "Why don't you tell her"

"Well, It could ruin our friendship, and im 436, and shes 21"

"Age doesn't matter in the world of magic"

"yeah, well, what do I tell Scarlett"

"Tell her you don't love her anymore"

"OK then" Ghastly looked confused, and then Skul pulled out his phone and dialled a number "Hey, Scarlett, im sorry but I don't love you anymore, goodbye" and Skulduggery hung up and put his phone away "Well, that settles that" Ghastly said surprised. "Well go get Val then"

"I will." with that he ran out of the house and Ghastly picked up his phone and said "Well there ya go, he's on his way to Val now" Tanith squealed and said "THANK GHASTLY" and ended the call, Ghastly chuckled and turned on the TV.
