Shourya was sitting on the bed fixing his watch when Meera steps out of the bathroom and sits on the dressing table to do her makeup. Shourya gazes at her floral white dress, and something stirred in him as he watched her get ready at the dressing table.
His eyes wandered over her as she smiled at him through the mirror, he just wanted to hold her in his arms and hide her away from the world.
"Kya hua Shourya? Aap mujhe aise kyun dekh rahe ho?"
(What happened Shourya? Why are you looking at me like that?)
Shourya clears his throat and walks up to her before bending down to her level and looking into her eyes through the mirror.
"Aaj tum had se zaada khoobsurat lag rahi ho. Aur khoobsurat lag rahi ho toh log bhi dekhenge. Including men."
(You're looking beyond gorgeous today. And that means people will look. Including men)
Meera rolls his eyes as he kisses her cheek.
"Hey! I haven't set my makeup yet!"
Meera swats him away before pouting at him. Soon they were on their balcony having breakfast. Their table was filled with croissants, sweet pastries, bread with a variety of different jams, and fruits with tea and coffee options.
"Mhmmmm, this is so good! Baby, we should just move here. Yahan ka khaana bohot tasty hai, and this coffee is too good!"
(The food here is so tasty.)
"Hmmm, bohot aacha hai. Mujhe lagta ha- Hey! Give me my pastry back. Shourya yeh cheating hai. Humne pehle hi half half kiya tha!"
(Hmmm, it's really tasty. I think- Hey! Give me my pastry back. This is cheating Shourya. We had halved them at the start."
Meer glares at her husband and he smirks back at her.
"Aare, jaan. Itni choti si toh ho tum, maine ek bite le li toh kya hogaya?"
