Chapter 40

Dani got her hair streaked with purple to match her dress. She got white french tips too go with it and sparkely purple eye shadow. She slipped on her dress that had diamonds on the top bra half, going down to her knee tops then to the backs of her ankles, silver heels, and a matching bracelet to the dress. I put on my new dress. The baby blue one with the slit in the left leg, I had my hair curled, diamonds on the one shoulder to the bra part then the rombus in the middle, silver heels, I had white tips with a black flower design on it, I took my necklace off but kept the ring on, silver piercings, and silver eye shadow.

Shay had on a burgundy dress with roses on the one shoulder, silver heels, a diamond bracelet, she had a windblown look to her hair, burgundy French tips, burgundy smokey eye, mascara, and eyeliner. Lyn had on her pink and black strapless dress with diamonds around it like a belt, a black pearl earrings with a matching necklace, silver heels, pink sparkly eye shadow, eyeliner, pale pink tips, curly hair, and pale pink lipstick.

Des had peach tips, a strapless peach dress with diamonds on it, silver heels, a peach rock necklace, silver eye shadow, curly hair, and mascara. Finally susan she had on a teal dress with sparkles, a flowery necklace, silver heels, teal tips, silver eyeliner, mascara, and curly hair.

Before we all went downstairs to leave Alex came up to me and said "You look good."

"Thanks." I say.

"Okay now that your fixed you go with him."

"Who are you gonna go with?"

"Avery."

"You sure you wanna go that route?"

"Yes she's actually nice unlike some people."

"Hey I'm nice."

"To who?" Lyn asked joining the conversation.

"Lots of people." I defend.

"Okay, fine your nice."

"Thank you."

"Bye."

"Bye."

He left and we all went downstairs. We left out to the school. We got out and Blake took my hand.

"You look great." He says.

"Thanks you look good yourself." I say winking at him.

"Thanks ready to have an pretty fun night?"

"Pretty fun let's make it a great night."

"Gotcha."

I danced with lots or people some I didn't even know. But it didn't matter because the whole night I had one of my favorite people beside me. When we all took a break from dancing I took Blake outside.

"So what's up?" He asked me as we walked around the school.

"I was wondering if you knew were your dad was?"

"No I don't know were he is."

"Okay."

"Why?"

"I was going to help you find him."

"See if he wants to like you know come back into your life."

"It would be cool. But he's missed years of my life it'd take a while to get that relationship built up again. Plus he might be in prison still."

"Well were gonna do this."

"Thanks. If you do this I'll love you forever."

"Oh buy you already do."

"True."

He stops and hugs me.

"Let's head back inside." I say.

Me nods and we go in.

I walked over to them and said "Hey when did they let you out?"

"They let me out after school."

"Oh so you'll be back now?"

"Yeah I'm back."

"Good. I missed my pain in the ass."

"I missed my bitch."

We hug and James laughs at us.

"Let's dance." She says to James and they go off.

"Bye." I call off to them.

I go back to Blake and say "The dance should be over soon right?"

"Right. There's one song left and were dancing to it."

"Why?"

"It's a slow song that's why."

I playfully rolled my eyes at him and he brought me to the floor.

After the song was over. We rushed to Dani's house. We had to move the furniture, set up the playlist, and food. All while taking turns to get dressed in her room. Tell me that's not crazy. If there was one thing I knew it was this tonight will be fun.
