Chapter 62

In the middle of us finishing up everything for the night Andrew and Walter were starting to get feisty with each other. Blake asked could he talk to them both outside and they went off. I nudged Dani and she looked in there direction.

"And here it goes." She says.

Blake's p.o.v once outside

"Okay. I want you Andrew to know that I'm not okay with you yet. Knowing what you did to my mom is going to take a while to get over and that is if you want to redeem yourself. Walter I look up to you a lot knowing that you took me in like that means a more to me than you'll ever know. But if Andrew wants to start being a real father to me you have to back off and let him at least try. Until you two figure that out is when things will go to a new normal for us." I say.

"I'm sorry about what I did to your mother. But I can prove that I changed. Just gotta give me a shot Blake." Andrew says.

"I will, but if you screw up, you will never see me again."

I'm serious about this all.

"I'll give you space, but I'll always be there for you blake."

I nod my head at him and he pats my shoulder and walks back in. I glance at Andrew before I go back in. I hope this works.

Chloe p.o.v

After the place is closed all the way it's 10:25. Me and Blake leave together in his car to the tattoo place.

"So how did it go with those two?" I asked.

"Okay I guess. My uncle needed to back off of Andrew a bit and Andrew needed to prove his worth to me now." He says.

"Oh well I hope it goes well for you guys."

"Me too. I'm sorry by the way."

"For what?"

"For Stephanie (step sisters name) being all ya know. But I really didn't want to mess up tonight."

"I get it that's why I didn't say anything."

"So you sung it instead?"

"Yeah. Do you really get what I was trying to say?"

"I'm sure I do. She may have a heart of gold, but that won't stop her from leaving you. And things aren't always what they seem for the time being."

"Wow you really got that?"

"Yeah don't underestimate me please I've had enough of that in my life."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Now let's go get tatoos."

I smile at him and we get out of the car. We get the same people who did out tatoos to do them again on my left hand wrist I got a queens crown that said one life. My other tatoo was a heart lock it was on my right calf on the right side at the top. Blake got a kings crown on his right hand wrist that said one love. The other one he had on was left calf on the left side at the top it was a key. His and her tattoos are the best. We left and went to my house.

Next day at lunch

"So you two got matching tattoos and didn't tell me till now!" Will and Dani say in unison as we sit down.

"I was going to text you, but I fell asleep." I say.

"Yeah whatever." Dani says.

"That's actually true she fell asleep with the phone in her hands." Blake says.
