SOMEWHERE . . .
cops force their way through the distressed crowd, looking for their suspect.
citizens look around in distress.
the alarm blares through the masses ears.
and the source of it all was right above them.
the boy dashed from light to light, before stopping.
he sent the cops below him a smirk.
"hey..! up there!" a citizen shouted. "he's here. move in immediately!" hearing their words, the boys smirk grew wider. he left the scene, with hopes to be followed.
TIME SKIP
the boy landed toward the main betting area. "good. now get running!" a boyish voice rang through his ear. "this is our only chance!" another male followed. "stay calm! you can get away now!" a girl spoke. "we'll retrieve the brief case on our end." another girl finished.
"...suspects...not...confirmed...hold...your...positions..." "hm? what was that?" the girl from before responded. "don't worry about us. just concentrate on getting away!" the boyish voice dismissed.
the man quickly dashed through the lights of the casino, as the boyish voice spoke up again. "but i have to say, showing yourself above that crowd earlier was an excellent move. nice work joker." "i bet skull wouldn't pull it off that smoothly." a different girl laughed to herself. "this happened because you have no sense for aesthetics." a different male teased. "nobody asked you, inari!"
the boy kept running, but before long, attention was brought onto him. "there!" a cop announced. the boy's smirk only grew wider. "great, the enemy attention is on him! we can slip out!" "joker, be careful!" a different voice warned. "don't worry, y/n. they cant catch me even if they tried." the male spoke into his earbud.
joker sprinted into an area, attempting to escape through the door to the outside, but is stopped by cops, which soon turn into shadows.
he flipped onto the back of one of the monstrosities, forcefully pealing the mask off of it. he flipped off of it before attacking it with his persona.
the more shadows he killed, the more shadows spawned. it was a never ending cycle. he left the scene by flipping onto a ledge which led to an area clear of shadows.
"joker, there!! go through that door!"
he did as he was told, sprinting into a small room with large windows. "dammit.. where did they go?!" one of the agents ran into the room next to him. "..suspect location cannot be confirmed. still searching." the agent ran off, letting joker stand up straight and keep walking.
which wasn't a good idea, due to the other agent in the same room. "oh no, joker—hide!"
before long, the agent flees the area, letting joker run into another room.
