Larry x Fem! Reader

Female reader as the title states!
This was a request, sorry it's kind of short
Context: You and Larry go out to get rice balls for dinner!

It's been a long day, I haven't heard from Larry at all. I wonder if he's doing okay, being a gym leader and elite 4 member isn't easy. He's really overworked, I'll give him a call

You pulled out your rotom phone and dial Larry's contact. It rings for a moment before it's answered

"Hello..?" Larry murmured out
"Larry! Hi sorry I haven't heard from you all day and I just wanted to make sure you're doing okay and if maybe you wanted to get your favorite rice balls for dinner..?" You asked

There was a moment of silence before he responded

"Yes..that sounds great. See you in a bit Y/n.. love you" and before you could answer he hung up the phone. Rude but he's working so it's understandable.

You set your rotom phone down before heading to your closet, wondering what to wear. You practically tore apart your closet before finding the perfect comfortable yet nice looking outfit for your dinner with Larry

You grab your bag and head out to the restaurant, humming a tune as you make your way. Once you arrived, you wait outside patiently for Larry to arrive, 5 minutes pass, 10,15,20... where is he? You grow worried and concerned, you make the choice to call him but then you hear your name being called ever so slightly

"Y/n..!" Larry whisper shouted, not having the energy to shout fully

You turn to him and smile

"Jeez Larry, you had me worried!" You pouted

"Sorry love, I wanted to get you something so here.." Larry murmured, presenting you a nice bouquet of your favorite flowers

"This is so sweet! Thank you" you beam at him

"I'm also sorry we haven't gotten much time to spend together, work has been killing me. But let's head inside shall we?" Larry showed his rare smile, offering a hand

"Yes we shall" You responded taking his hand as you both walked in the restaurant

"Good evening, what would you like to order?" The person asked that was in front

"I'll take [your rice ball order]" you told them

"I'll have a Medium-serving grilled rice balls, Fire Blast style, with fresh lemon on the side" Larry said right after you

"Alrighty! Please take a seat where ever and we'll get your orders ready in a jiffy!" The person said walking off to the chief

You and Larry walked towards a small booth, taking a seat and making conversation.

"How's work going?" You ask

"The boss keeps giving me paperwork, I'm almost done with it.. hopefully I can have more free time to spend with you.." he responded

"Well I'm glad we're having this moment to spend some time together" you smiled, holding his hand

Minutes later your rice balls had arrived and you both enjoyed your meal.

"You want some of mine Larry?" you offered, holding your already bitten rice ball to him. He nodded before taking a bite

He hummed, savoring it

"That's delicious, I will most certainly order it the next time I come here"

"Glad you like it!" You giggled

You both continued to converse, loosing track of time with your already finished rice balls. The staff had to tell you they were closing soon, you both left walking outside

"Mm.. love you Y/n.." he said softly, kissing your cheek

"Love you too Larry" you said back as you both held hands and walked in a comfortable silence back to your house.
