Ortega x fem! Reader

Plot: You're another Team Star Boss, the other had no idea abt u, Ortega was the last team star boss standing. You came to his aid after his battle with the player (we'll call them Blair) you two were best friends and both had a lil crush on each other

Y/n POV:

I'm watch from the cliffs as Eri had been defeated by Blair who was apart of Operation Team Star Fall or whatever they called it. She had turned over her badge just as Mela, Giacomo and Attitcus had did. This trainer is strong, I tried helping by throwing potions to my fellow teammates Pokémon when they battled Blair but it was no use. Ortega was the last one standing, I hope he's been doing alright

Cassiopeia kept me a secret for some reason I hated, ever since she disappeared this kid has been defeating our bases claiming the badges. terastallizing was cool but I came from Kanto and been lucky to find a key stone and Banettite to mega evolve my ace.

I threw a poke ball up and Gengar came out

"Could you fly me to the Ruchbah base, I need to be there for when it falls." I asked my Gengar which smiled its signature smile picking me up and flying towards Ortega's Base. It took about 45 minutes before I reached the base but Blair had beat me to it with their Miradon. Shit.

Blair had just beaten the Grunt's 30 Pokémon and was about take on Ortega. They had thrown out their Pokémon

"I'll promise I'll play nice, so don't blame me when this battle sends you blubbering back home!" Ortega said cheekily

"Cute he hasn't changed a bit"  I chuckled to myself

I'd say the battle lasted 20-25 minutes maybe? Blair had put up a really good fight, they ended up winning in the end with half their Pokémon alive

"UGH how could I LOSE! What the HECK" Ortega pouted

He stepped down, as the two we're approaching each other I decided it was time to butt in. Gengar had flown above them knowing

"Gengar drop me and use shadow ball!" I shouted

The shadow ball hit directly in between Ortega and Blair, knocking them backwards. Ortega falling onto the ground, as I almost hit the ground Gengar used psychic to break the fall

Ortega POV;

"She looks oddly familiar.." I thought

"Who are you! Stay out of this!" Blair said irritated

"quit your yapping! The names Y/n, the sixth and FINAL team star boss." She said pointing at Blair

I stared in shock, Y/n? My cheeks heated up slightly she's changed a lot

"Gengar use shadow ball again!" Y/n commanded

Blair quickly threw out one of their Pokémon's and countered, Clive threw in a Pokémon too

"You prefer a double battle? Fine by me, Dragapult use dragon rush, Gengar Phantom Force!" She shouted throwing a pokeball out

"Dodge!" Both of them shouted

A big boom thundered, I watched Y/n in awe as Gallade and Polteageist were fell on the ground fainted

(Time skip where Clive's Pokémon all fainted, Blair and Y/n on their last Pokemon)

"Okay Dragonite terastallize!" Blair let the orb collect energy before throwing it towards their Dragonite. It's typing was dragon, we watched to see if Y/n would terastallize but she did something by different

"Banette, the bond between us is stronger than ever. Mega Evolve!" She touched her hairpin and glowy lines came out connecting with the Banette's. It then changed completely just as a Pokémon would during evolution. Mega Evolution...

In the end Y/n somehow lost, we both turned our badges to Blair then they left.

"Y/n.." Ortega murmured so only she could hear
 
She turned over and ran up to me, giving me a big hug

"Ortie! Thank goodness you're okay!" She said as I hugged her back. I'm glad to have her back
