Your POV

Arven asked if I had wanted to come over to his dorm to make some sandwiches with him so we could share it with the others. It wasn't a bad idea actually we could share with Nemona and Penny! I held a basket of ingredients Arven said he needed as I walked over to his dorm. I knocked on the door and waited a brief moment before he opened the door.

"Heya Y/n! Come on in!" Arven greeted, taking the basket from my hands and guided me into the comfort of his dorm

I slip off my shoes and meet Arven in his little kitchen area, I grab lettuce from the basket, a cutting board and knife. I washed the lettuce before I began prepping ingredients to put the sandwich together

I carefully peel the lettuce stems apart, cutting the core before dicing it into smaller sections, I set them aside on a large dish. I grab the tomato that Arven had washed and cut that up as well

Arven POV

Im currently washing the vegetables Y/n had brought over, we haven't said anything. I wish she'd say something first, is it too awkward? Should I start a conversation? What would we even talk about??

I snuck glances of Y/n as I finished washing the veggies, I dried my hand with a towel then awkwardly stood there while she finished chopping the vegetables.

I helped her plate everything and I insisted on making homemade bread. The store bought bread is alright but I can make it better

I grabbed my ingredients and starting mixing all the dry ingredients before pouring it the wet ones. Y/n stood beside me, intrigued by what I was doing. We still haven't said anything to each other, is she going to say anything?! I could feel sweat drip down the side of my face, this tension is driving me insane.

Y/N POV

Arven looked so focused as he mixed the dough, that's soo cute! I glanced around before noticing the flour bag was still out. I got an idea I'll start a cliche flour fight to liven things up!

I grabbed some flour with my hand and threw it at Arven. He covered his face jumping back slightly, he turned to me

"Y/n!! What was that!" He pouted, now covered in flour

"You looked so focused and I got bored soo" I giggled

"I'm so gonna get you for this!" He declared grabbing more flour and blowing it in my face

I sputtered out the flour that got in my mouth, trying to reach out to grab more flour but I slipped on the flour that had fallen beneath me dragging Arven down with me

A loud thud as we both hit the white powered covered ground, I rubbed my eyes trying to clear the flour in my eyes. When my eyes opened I met a star struck Arven his mouth agape

"Arven? Is everything alright?" I asked concerned

"...I really like you Y/n" he stated still not fully aware of what he was now confessing to me

"Huh..?!" I squealed out

He seemed to snap out of his daze now in full panic now registering what he had just said

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry Y/n I-I don't know what came over me and that just came out of my mouth- Again I'm so sorry I understand if you don't like me back p-please forget abt this-" he rambled before I put a finger to his lips

"Relax Arven, I really like you too" I smiled as he relaxed and smiled back like a little golden retriever that he is
