"As soon as I awoke the next morning I packed my bag and took it to the barn and hid it there behind some hay bells. Tonight was the night me and my beloved Samuel would be free from this hell we were living in. I went ahead and done my daily chores so papa wouldn't get suspicious. After supper was over I came to the barn where I am now awaiting my love to come rescue me. I think I hear him. Oh how I can't wait to leave. Oh no it's papa!!" The diary ended after those words were written. I wonder what happened to that poor girl. There's nothing else written in the diary. Tasha began to weep uncontrollably and she felt tears just fall down her face. She was so upset about it that she decided to do some more investigating to see what she could find out. Tasha started for the library, when she went through the kitchen she found some news paper articles and some old letters lying on the table. She began to read the letters and soon realized they were old letters from the young girl's mother who wrote the diary. They were to a cousin of the family; which read- "Dear Abigail, it's I your cousin Esther. I have some terrible news. My husband and daughter are dead and so is her fiance Samuel. Charles got drunk and went crazy. He started to ransacke the whole house. He stumbles upon a diary and realizes our daughter was planning to run away. He then kidnapped Samuel and held him at gun point and forced him to the barn where he then proceeded to shoot Samuel in the head while our daughter watched the whole thing. After he was done with him he killed our daughter and then himself. Their funerals will be the day after morrow at two hours past noon. Please come. They will be buried in the Whispering Acres Cemetery a mile past our residence. Love your cousin, Esther"....
