AURORA'S POV
"Why does it look like that?"

"Oh my God, Vinny, you can't just say that."

"It looks just like Chris, same nose!"

"Would y'all stop bullying my daughter?" This was the conversation that unfolded as I laid in the hospital bed, exhausted. Chris held her in his arms as all the guys gawked at her, but he wasn't going to pass her off to anyone. "She's beautiful, just like her mother," he took a seat on the edge of the hospital bed, smiling down at her. "I promise to protect you and your mom with all my life," he whispered. I smiled softly. This was what I wanted in life, this was the normalcy I craved. A family, with a husband who loves unconditionally, and that's what I got.
The moment we got home Chris finally started to let others hold her as they lightly roasted Chris. It was all, "I can't believe you made something so cute," and, "I hope she has her moms features more than yours". He took the roast session like a champ.

"I'm gonna go lay down," I leaned over and whispered to Chris. He rubbed my thigh lightly, then kissed my forehead and I made my way to our bedroom. I couldn't believe I was leaving my child in the hands of five men, but I assumed at least one of them knew what to do. I laid down and scrolled through social media, looking at the pictures that flooded my feed, all saying the same thing: "Welcome Lydia Cerulli, young Padawan". I smiled to myself, then Chris stepped into the room. He laid down next to me on the bed, and pushed my hair back out of my face.

"You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life," he said softly. I smiled and rested my head against his. He was going to be a wonderful dad, and I couldn't wait to see it.

"What time is it?" Chris asked groggily as we heard the screaming through the monitor. Two months in, and we still were not used to it. I looked over at my phone.

"It's 3am, it's your turn. I got up at 1am." I rubbed my eyes. Chris groaned, then got up out of bed. He walked into the nursery and I watched on the camera as he picked up Lydia. He sat down in the black rocking chair with her, and started to softly sing to her. I was right, he was a great dad. It made me smile as I watched him do it, and eventually Lydia fell asleep again. He placed her back in her bassinet and made his way back to our room. Chris kissed me as he laid back down, then pulled me close to his chest. "Do you regret it yet?" I asked him. He chuckled lightly.

"Not a day, or night, goes by that I'm not grateful for this. Even at 3am, I'm still the luckiest man alive. I've got a beautiful daughter, a sexy wife, and one hell of a family. I'll never regret it."
