We had been sitting quietly just enjoying each other's company when the silence was broken by Namjoon's phone ringing. As you looked at him you noted his bashful expression as he dug his phone out of his pocket and then quickly answered upon seeing the caller. "Hey Sung-Min" you heard him say and crooked an eyebrow when he began humming. "Yeah, let me just put it on speaker phone" he said and moved his phone to do so. "Okay everyone can hear you now." Namjoon announced.

"Evening everyone, I was just calling with an update. So, Sang-Hoon has been dismissed from the company upon learning about his criminal history, and considering his history the company is launching an internal investigation to make sure he didn't continue his disgusting actions within the company. Now I need to ask you guys a very sensitive question. Did Sang-Hoon at any time try to violate you in any way?" you hear Sung-Min in a serious tone.

You sat fidgeting in your spot as you watched the others. They all spoke up denying anything had happened to them. "That's good. We have to speak with everyone including the trainees that he worked with that left the company. It's going to take time, so the company has decided to give everyone the rest of the week off." Sung-Min announced through the phone. The guys all seemed to enjoy that news but were still troubled with the reason for the break.

"Also now that Mrs. Vittori has brought to our attention the errors in how thoroughly we check a persons criminal history, we will be running more thorough criminal background checks on everyone within the company. So I'm hoping there won't be anymore changes to the staff, but I want you all to be prepared for it just in case." He added on.

"On another note, did you speak with her and get things cleared up?" Sung-Min then asked. Namjoon smiled softly "We did, we're actually with her right now at her place." He responded while shooting you a bigger grin. "Oh? So, she can hear me then?" Sung-Min asked to which you hummed in confirmation. "Miss Vittori, on behalf of BigHit I want to say thank you so much for bringing the matter of Sang-Hoon's history to our attention. I also want to apologize for the treatment you received as a result of his meddling." He addressed towards you.

You ducked your head and hummed. "There's no need to thank me. And there's no reason for you to apologize. The guys have already done enough of that." You told him and giggled when Kook nuzzled into your neck. "Namjoon did you discuss the collaboration with her?" he then asked. "I did, and with the original terms not the crap ones I requested. She asked that she be able to think about it." He answered.

During this you nibbled on your bottom lip and then nodded to yourself. "Actually, I'll do it" you spoke out making Namjoon look to you quickly. "Are you sure?" he questioned, and you nodded your head to him. "Yeah I'm sure. Now that the air has been cleared." You told him. The guys all made sounds of excitement while Tae and Kook squeezed you tightly. "That's great to hear then. Just let us know what you need, and we'll get everything squared away for you." Sung-Min said then spoke to Namjoon for a few more minutes before ending the call.

"I do not envy any of human resources or the top brass right now." Yoongi spoke into the silence with a slight grimace. "Honestly I'm more than surprised that they have been this lax with it. Considering the nature of the business and who we all work with and how they recruit internationally. Why would they limit their background checks to just Korea? Seems like irresponsible business practices if you ask me." Jin responded with a frown. Namjoon nodded and patted him on the shoulder in agreeance. "Regardless, it's being properly handled now. So lets just put it aside for now and hope for the best that we won't have anymore surprises in the future." Leaving everyone nodding.

Kook poking you lightly in your side made you squeak and look to him with wide eyes. "Can I help you sir?" you said while raising your own finger prepared to start a poke war making him grin that adorable bunny grin.
