Fae's Painted Secrets

Chapter 13

She was so still in Jungkook's arms but would whimper at any movement. "Hyung, do you mind explaining now?" Jungkook finally spoke up from the backseat where he and Tae tried their best to keep Fae still and comfortable. Hobi sighed from the driver's seat and glanced up to the rearview mirror then over to Yoongi who was in the passenger seat. "I wasn't going to say anything because it wasn't my place, and she should be the one to tell everyone." He said while focusing back on the road. "Yeah well when you yell she's not supposed to do that and go running after her you should've been expecting to explain yourself." Yoongi said. Hobi only nodded at him.

"You guys know the night I was given the photos I went and saw her right? Well while I was there she opened up to me a bit. It was while I was massaging her back and legs I noticed the skin felt different. Her tattoos cover scarring, and a lot of it. I asked her about it. She admitted she'd been in an accident that left her severely injured. Like life changing injured. She's got metal running through a leg and on her pelvis, even a full hip replacement. Because of that she is limited physically. Nothing high impact, including dancing. And even though what we all saw was breath taking and amazing, she shouldn't have done it." Hobi finally said leaving the car in silence.

Yoongi rubbed his face "bad history with cars, texting and driving completely changing her life... Now with what you're saying and what she said the other night. It's all making sense now. Including her reaction to finding out about us" he said with a sigh. "So, I'm not the only one who caught onto that?" Tae spoke up quietly. "Not at all. But as she said she'll answer our questions. Something tells me there's a lot to it that we don't know. And even more so that it's not easy for her to talk about." Jungkook said while he studied her face.

When they finally arrived at her place they quickly and carefully got her inside and Jungkook continued to carry her upstairs and into her room where he paused seeing the fluffy pillow haven she called a bed. Hobi laughed "yeah that was my reaction as well. Just lay her in the middle and get her coat and shoes off for now" he instructed and moved quickly into her bathroom and started opening cabinets looking for the box she spoke of. Once she was laid down Yoongi and Tae moved over and got her shoes off quickly and then helped him shift her enough to get her coat off of her. Jungkook eyed Hobi as he came back in carrying what looked like a white tackle box and felt his eyes widen when he saw what was in it.

Hobi was sifting through grabbing out pain patches and paused when he saw the amount of them as well as a few pill bottles. Hobi shook his head and set the box aside and turned to the others. "We'll have to remove her pants" he said while handing Kook the patches and moving forward and unbuttoned her jeans and with Yoongi's help carefully pealed the skinny jeans off of her revealing the full extent of the tattoo work. "Hyung she said cover all of them?" Kook questioned to which Hobi hummed and nodded. "Umm which ones do you know about?" he asked and started opening the patch packages along with Tae and handing them over to the others to apply to her skin.

"Just her back, wrist and along her leg why?" Hobi answered and looked a question at Kook. "That's not all of them" he answered while swallowing thickly. "Where?" Yoongi asked with a raised eyebrow. Kook slowly stepped forward and raised her shirt hoping that would be all that was needed but groaned when it wasn't. "Her pelvic area.." he whispered. Hobi's eyes widened, and he swallowed then shook his head. "It makes sense. We'll handle it." He assured the younger. Once they had her leg and hip area covered Hobi took a deep breath and carefully lowered the waistband of her boy shorts trying to keep her modesty intact and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw he didn't have to lower them too much. Tae moved forward with another patch and carefully applied it then moved away so Hobi could set her clothing right again, only pausing momentarily to note the lotus flower that was higher up.

"Alright hold her up so we can get her back and that should be good." Hobi instructed. Kook carefully raised her up while Tae opened 4 more packages and handed them to Yoongi and Hobi then held the back of her shirt up out of the way. Yoongi watched as Hobi ran his hand down and pointed out the first 2 spots to Yoongi then applied the last 2 where they were needed. Once done they settled her down and tucked one of her fuzzy blankets around her. Satisfied they moved out of her room and into her living room where they all took up residence on her couch in contemplative silence.
