It was Wednesday afternoon and you had just finished cleaning up your work area. You had spent the day sketching out more designs and replying to emails on design requests as well as booking future appointments. You had some deliveries that you also had to confirm for the canvas prints that you were going to be mounting later in the week to deliver next week. Stretching you looked at the time and knew you better get yourself in gear if you were going to meet Namjoon on time.

Making your way into your room you perused your closet and settled on a pair of light grey ripped skinny jeans, a black off the shoulder t-shirt, black chunky heeled ankle boots with a black army jacket. Looking over yourself in the mirror you left your wavy hair down and added some light makeup. Opting to put on a slouchy black beanie you nodded at your appearance and left your room to grab your things and head out. Slinging your messenger bag over your shoulder and donning your headphones you pulled up your playlist on your phone and hit play on one of your playlists. Bopping to Heads Will Roll by Yeah Yeah Yeahs you locked up and headed for the river.

Reaching the river, you made your way to your usual spot and settled in with the book you'd been reading, Sucker Punch by your favorite author Laurell K Hamilton, while you waited. You were excited to finish her latest installment in her Anita Blake series and figured you'd get a couple of chapters in while you had the chance. She had become a staple in your vast reading repertoire considering the genre she wrote of fantasy horror romance. Getting comfortable you let yourself get sucked into her world.

Meanwhile across the city Namjoon kept looking at his phone impatiently while he was in yet another meeting going over issues of the newest album they were set to release in the next couple of months. Apparently somehow a few of the mixes for the songs that were set to go on the album had been deleted and they needed to be recorded again. "Look we've gotten just about everyone else in to re-record their parts today, if we can get you in tonight we'll be back on track." One of the producers was telling him. "Can we get it done tomorrow or Friday?" he asked yet again. "Friday is already scheduled out and tomorrow the recording studio is already booked with someone else. It's got to be tonight. It's only 2 songs so it'll be a couple of hours max." was the response given to him.

Looking down to his phone yet again he sighed seeing he was already late. He was currently kicking himself for not getting her contact information. He still remembered the first time he'd seen her sitting by the Han River, she'd been sitting on a patch of grass reading a book while sipping on an iced coffee in her own world. He had found her beautiful but had continued on his way on his bike. But after that day he always saw her in the same spot, always doing something in her own little world. Be it reading, drawing, writing or taking pictures of the river. He'd even seen her napping there. He wasn't sure what it was, but she had intrigued him after that first time. It had taken him a while to build up the courage to approach her, but when he fully laid eyes on her, it was worth it. He'd been immediately captivated by her eyes and could see him getting lost in them for hours.

But all of the time spent gaining the courage to talk to her apparently was going to be for nothing. It was one of the downsides to his chosen career, his lack of control over his personal life and schedule. Sighing again he nodded his head and stood to head for the recording studio, silently hoping he'd see her again and hopefully would forgive his standing her up. And maybe if luck was on his side she might give him a second chance at getting to know her. As he made his way out of the office he ran into two of his younger bandmates as they were heading out for the evening.

"What's with the long face Hyung?" Jungkook questioned with a frown. Running a hand through his hand he sighed "I'm just heading to the recording studio to re-record my parts of the songs that were lost." He answered trying to push away his frustration. "Ah, I get it's frustrating, but it won't take too long. Then you can go home and relax and enjoy the day off tomorrow." Jungkook chirped trying to cheer up his leader. "It's not that Kook; I just had a coffee date planned and now I have to bail" he explained. Tae shrugged "so send her a message or call her and explain what happened, if she's worth it she'll understand the need to reschedule" he said.
