Elena's Pov
"Tesoro, you know me so well and you are right this is your new room because I have to keep a close eye on you". He said to me with a smirk on his face, what does he think of himself? Keeping an eye on me like I am a child.
There's no point arguing with him because it will end with him getting his way, why because Chase Lorenzo is a big, scary mafia boss, he thinks I am scared of him, well I am but he should know that then he will feel like he has all the power.
"Tesoro, stop daydreaming. An idol mind is the devil's playground" he said to me.
"Well, I thought you were the devil, if not then I don't know anymore," I said to him making sure he knows I am not in the mood for his stupid games.
If Chase thinks he can have his way, then he has some thinking to do, the only way I'll ever stay in the same room as this psychopath is if I lay down some rules and make sure he agrees because I have been listening to him, I never argue with him so it's only fair if he listens to me.
So, I tell him, "The only way I'm staying in this room with you is if you agree to my rules and conditions".
"I am sorry Tesoro are you talking to me," he said with curiosity in his tone.
I am not scared of him, nor am I attracted to him, I keep telling myself, more like trying to convince myself. I know if I stay in the same room with him let alone the same house something is bound to happen which would not be the worst.
No way I cannot fall for Mr. Iamabigstrongmafiaman, I need to focus and remember he kidnapped me.
"Tesoro, what are these rules and conditions," he asked me.
"First of all, we will not be sharing a bed, secondly you will not follow me around like I need supervision, if I was planning to escape, I would have done it already."
