"Are you serious, Homing? You might regret it, and the others might not agree with your decision." your mother said while drinking her tea

"Yes I am! I plan on living the rest of my life as a normal human being and I'm taking my family with me." said Homing as his wife smiled next to him

"Well I'm glad you came to say goodbye to us first, It looks like there's no point in trying to convince you to stay now but I do hope you are happy with your decision."

"Thank you for your concern, M/n but I'm sure we'll be able to handle it as a family."

"Come on Doffy, let's play hide and seeeeeeeek" you said - Y/n (7)

"Hide and seek is for kids, let's play 'which slave can run the fastest' hehe" - Doflamimgo (8)

"E-ehh, how about we stick to normal games doffy, roci what do you wanna play?"

"I'm fine with whatever you pick y/n" he said in a small shy voice

"hmph, my idea is better y/n, suit yourself I'm going to read a book."

"Hmm I'm outta ideas, let's just go get snacks"

The two children went to their play area and enjoyed their time eating snacks.

"Hmm rociiiiiiiii, I'm bored again."

The little boy sat there as well thinking of what to do next, until he got up and left the room.

'hmm? Maybe he got tired of me'

Little feet paddles were heard coming back to the room y/n was in. And in came Roci holding a little box which resembled that of cards.

He held out the cards to y/n and stared at her anticipatingly waiting for a reply.

The little girl thought for a second, then turned to the boy and nodded while giving the purest smile a child could give

They sat together and started playing with the cards but halfway through, there was an interruption in their heated battle of cards

"Rocinante, go get your brother and give little y/n a goodbye, it's time to go now." His father commented

"Ah alreadyyy" little y/n complained,

"You can always see them next in future, young y/n"

"Ok" her mood quickly changed as the two brothers now stood before her.

She leaped onto doffy's neck and said "Bye doffy, bye roci! "

"Next time we should all play cards together!!"

Roci just nodded while looking at his brother with twinkles in his eyes and doffy agreed reluctantly to please his brother

"Byyeeeeee" M/n and y/n waved back at the Donquixote family as they slowly got further and further

"Mother, when do you think they'll come I want to practice my amazing skills before they come again.

"I'm sorry my dear but I don't think you're gonna see the brothers for a long time sweetie" she looked at her only daughter apologetically

"What do you mean mother?" She said with a confused face

"Sweetheart the Donquixote family is moving very far away and we won't be allowed to see them again."

"Why not?"

"Because of certain rules in life my baby."

"Oh, ok."

"... If I could, I would also leave this place" she whispered that last part with a look of regret in her eyes

"What did you say, mother?" "Nothing sweetheart let's go make a cake for dessert tonight, okay?"

"Okayy, but only because I like the cakes you make, mother."
