"Move Malekei, I have to get ready too" I said shoving my brother out of my way. One bathroom, really two story house and only one bathroom. "I have to get ready too Addi" he replied. "Malekei, Addison, come on time to go" my mother yelled from downstairs. It was the first day at our new school so I was a little nervous. My mom, dad, brother and I moved here because of my dad's work. "Coming mom." my brother and I yelled at the same time. We looked at each other and laughed then ran downstairs. "Shotgun" my brother said. "No you got it on the way here." I complained. Then we raced to the car. My brother of course won he was the fastest on his track team back home. "Ugh" I groaned getting in the back. My mom laughed at us and then got in. She wanted to give us a ride on the first day so we agreed even though we both can legally drive. My dad had to work so it was just my mom, my brother, and I. The ride there was silent until we got there. Malekei jumped out and ran without even saying bye. I was way too nervous to do that. I sat in the back seat staring at the new school I was supposed to go into now. I spent my whole life at my old school with the same best friends and never having to be new. "Honey you can do it they will love you just be you." my mother said. "Easy for you to say mom" I said biting my nails. "Go on I know you can do this. And I'm going to be late." my mom laughed and I laughed then opened the door. "Ok here I go" I said getting out. People rushed passed me and I felt so lost. I turned around and my mom was gone the comfort of her being behind me was gone. I turned back towards the school and there was a girl. A pretty girl she had short blond hair and the prettiest green eyes. "Hi" she said welcomingly. "You must be a new girl?" She asked. I nodded she reached her hand out for mine and I shook hers. "I am Britt Ross" she said. "Addison" I replied "Addison Matthews" I finished.
