Chapter 5

It was about 8:30 when there was a knock on my bedroom door. I hadn't even realized id slept in. "uh come in." I said smoothing my hair down and sitting up. It was Britt. "Hey sleeping beauty get up and dressed." she said I laughed. "I'm serious." she said glaring at me. I put my hands up in serender and got up. I walked into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and hair and walked back out. "Hey do you think my brother will come?" I asked walking back out. "Probably the majority of the school is going." she replied she was sitting on my bed texting. I nodded and walked to my closet. I picked out a tshirt and walked towards the bathroom. "No" she said I looked at her confused. She pointed to my outfit and repeated herself. She walked over to my closet and went through my clothes. "Ok good thing I brought extras" she said pulling out a pink and blue two piece and a weird see through skirt thing. "What no" and she nodded. I sighed and grabbed them and walked into my bathroom. I changed and came back out. She started clapping and I swirled around."Beautiful now let's go" She said pulling my arm down the stairs. My mom looked at me and said "Um" and I said "Were going to the beach do you mind?" I asked. And she shook her head no and said "Nope have fun." I fake smiled and Britt kept pulling me till we got to her car and both got in. My brother Came out right behind us and said "See you there sis" and got in his car. I nodded at him threw his car window and we both took off. We sang along to music the whole way there. When we got there nearly the whole school was there. There was so many people there. We walked out to the water and put our feet in. "It's beautiful isn't it?" She asked and I nodded. "Yes it really is." I replied. She pulled out her phone and said "Selfie" and took a picture of us. I laughed then we laughed together. We took a couple of silly pictures. Then we turned around and went and sat down on a towel that she pulled out of the bag that she carried down out of the car. I didn't even realize she had brought it from the car. We layed down in silence for a while until I got dirt kicked on me and sat up "Hey" I said loudly. I looked up and it was the guy who spilled coffee on me. "Hi" he said. I looked over to Britt but she was gone. Ugh. "I didn't catch your name?" He said. "That's because I didn't throw it." I replied snarky. "I'm sorry that was rude." I said getting up. "That's ok." he said smiling. "So your name is?" He asked. "Um Addi. And yours?" I asked back. He put his hand out I shake mine and said "Jeydon." I shook his hand and he said "Hey you wanna go get something to eat." he said still holding my hand. "Um my brother." I said looking around and he was with his friends. "Fine but I'm driving." I said. And he nodded.
