Chapter 4

The week seems like it's gone by so fast. I barely even remember the last three days and today was already friday. My first weekend here starts tomorrow or well technically today I guess. I got ready for school and my usual habits and before I knew it I was at school with Britt by my side. It felt good to have such a popular friend and not only that she was amazing and sweet and the perfect friend. We walked to out first class together. I remember feeling like this class would never end when the bell finally rang. I guess I was dazing off when Britt snapped her fingers in front of my face and said "Earth to Addi." I shook my head and replied "Oh sorry" and got up and we walked to our lockers. On the way she asked me "So what are your plans for this weekend?" To which I replied "I didn't really have any." and she said "Good were going to the beach." and I laughed thinking she was joking and when she looked at me seriously I asked "Wait your serious?" And she nodded and hummed a yes. I gulped I have only been to the beach twice and i was 2 and 4 and don't remember it. I have been to the lake many times it's just the ocean. Where there is sharks and jelly fish and undiscovered scary creatures. Not really my fortay. The day as always passed quickly. At the end of the day Britt was standing at my locker with me and asked "Why don't you ride with me we can get some coffee and I'll drop you of home what do you say?" And I replied "I'll have to ask my mom but I'm sure she'll be fine with it." She nodded and when my brother came up we walked with him to our car. I leaned through the passenger seat "Hey mom this is my friend Britt Ross can I go get some coffee with her well come straight home afterwards please?" And she nodded and smiled. "Yes but come home afterwards and be careful I love you." I yelled I love you too as Britt dragged me to her car. We laughed as we got in and drove away. We sung out loud to almost every song on the radio until we got there. It's really funny I have known her for less than a week and I was so comfortable with her. We got there laughing about how bad we were singing. We ordered our coffee and sat and waited. "So tomorrow I'll pick you up at about 9:00 am k?" She asked . I gulped and nodded. "And I'm sorry but two pieces are so much cuter than one pieces just a warning." We laughed and the guy called Britt for our coffee we walked up and grabbed our coffee and when I turned around I felt a hot pain through my stomach. I looked up with my jaw open and a really hot guy spilled his coffee on me. "I am so sorry let me get some napkins." he said reaching around me and grabbing some then handing them to me. "It's ok" I said grabbing them and wiping some of the coffee off. He had a perfectly white smile and brown short cut hair he was taller than me by about 5 inches and he was so cute blue eyed and perfect like so much more perfect than Dayton. "Can I pay for it or something I feel so bad." I shook my head no and said "It's fine really." when Britt interrupted and said. "Why don't you come to the beach party tomorrow and well call it even." she said pulling me away. I laughed. When we got in the car I asked "What if he doesn't know where it is?" And she replied "Trust me he knows." she winked at me and drove me home where I spent half of the night like I usually do and the second half thinking about mr. perfect and then I fell asleep.
