Chapter 6

I walked over to my brother. "Hey can I get the keys? I'll be back in a little while and if you wanna go home you can just call mom." I said holding my arm out and gesturing for the keys. He sighed looking at Jeydon then handed me them."Fine" he said glaring at Jeydon. "Do anything to hurt her I'll kill you." my brother said. "Malekei." I said walking away. "He's kidding" I said to Jeydon. "I'm not kidding" Malekei said as we walked away.I scoffed and shook my head. As we got in my brothers car I saw Britt with Dayton putting her thumbs up. I laughed and shook my head. We got in and drove away. I didn't know that many places so I decided to go to the one place I did know. Which was the first place we went to when we first got here about a week ago which was a weird cafe thing. The car ride was a little awkward he didn't say anything until we parked then he asked "You don't know that many places do you?" And I shook my head no. We laughed then got out of the car. We went in and waited in the line for our turn to be seated. "So how many times have you been here?" He asked and I held up my index finger. He nodded. When the waitress finally got us a seat we didn't stop talking. It became less awkward and I told him my true opinions. Like how I like nature and all but tree huggers drive me mad. We went from talking about the ocean to river monsters to endangered animals and on and on until we ended up talking about cannibals. It was fun and by the time he paid for our food and we were about to leave my face hurt from smiling and laughing so much. We took so long it was dark out now and I was still in a bathing suit. We got back in my brothers car still laughing. "Well that was interesting." I said laughing and he nodded and said "Very." We looked at each other awkwardly and slowly started leaning towards one another. It was so slow then when his lips finally met mine it was amazing. His lips were so soft and he was deffinately skilled. I ran my fingers through his super soft hair. Until we were interrupted by a knock on the glass of my window. I look out to see a police officer standing there with the back of his flashlight against my window. I roll down my window and ask "Yes officer?" And he asks me looking at Jeydon "Are you Addison Matthews?" To which I replied "yes is there a problem?" and he asked "Ma'am can I speak with you alone?" And I nodded getting out of the car. When I heard what he said I dropped to my knees. In the movies when everything goes silent and you think yeah right that would never happen in real life. I felt that. I also felt a piercing pain and a gaping hole on my chest immediately. All I could think was this can't be happening this is just a dream.
