1 SEPTEMBER 2013 - The Lake - the past.
Taehyung used to daydream a lot when he was younger. He'd lose himself in imaginings so vivid he sometimes thought they were real life - only to come out of them and into a reality so starkly different it was like the wind was knocked out of him.
It was easier to be lost in his head than it was to be at home. He was six when Jungkook's grandparents started dragging him over to their house every day after school with Jungkook, while Jungkook's parents were at work, feeding him meals so hearty that the first few weeks he'd felt sick from the richness of the food. They showed him the love and care he never got at home, everything he'd never known existed until he walked into that house.
