"Sex, Drugs, Etc." Beach Weather
*NSFW, Trigger Warning: Guns, Drugs, Etc*
"Theo!" I yelled as I pushed through the swaying hickory doors. A small smile graced my features seeing Theo's beaming face.
"Adalynn! And Rory! So nice to see you ladies!" He reached down, bringing two glasses onto the bar. Rory and I took our rightful places, each grabbing our old seats.
"Want the regulars? Or I could even whip you up something just for the two of you."
"We'll take our usuals, Theo, thank you." Rory replied for us both. He nodded, grabbing various liquors and inclusions.
"So," Theo began, back turned to us as he reached for the vodka, "Just you two pretty ladies tonight?" The empty seat beside me squeaked upon the weight settling into it.
"No, they're with us." A gruff voice spoke, one belonging to no other than Levi. I'd been trying my best to avoid him after our encounter, but I found myself actually wanting to be around him. Annoyingly enough, that is. I didn't shy away when he sat near, but he didn't acknowledge me in a way that would imply we kissed the other night either. Part of me wanted to tell Rory. The other part of me wanted to pretend it didn't happen. And then there was this little sliver of me that wanted more, but that definitely couldn't happen.
Theo's brows rose. "Welcome back, Mr. Ackerman." He pushed Rory's drink over to her first before giving me mine with a grin. "What can I get for you?"
Levi exhaled slowly, crossing his arms on the counter. As he was about to speak, Hange bumped against his back, pushing him to the side slightly.
"He'll take a bourbon, and I'll take four."
Rory leaned on the bar counter to look over at Hange, her brows creased. "Hange-" She began, as if she was scolding a child.
"Let me have fun, love," Hange mused pleadingly. Love? Looks like that's been progressing. Her face is flushed. She's already had a drink.
Theo chuckled deeply, shaking his head. "On it," he swiftly pulled out some glasses, laying them upon the counter and beginning to fill them with their respective liquids.
I watched as Levi took his single bourbon. "Just one again?" I took a sip of my drink.
He turned his head, tracing the rim of the glass with his pointer finger. "I haven't decided yet. I'm still set on winning." I swear his mouth twitched to form a smirk for just a second.
Rory pushed herself against me, looking between the two of us. "Winning what?" She placed her glass in between her lips, sipping slowly as a smile spread across her face.
Levi gave her a look that screamed piss off. "A drinking game, Ror," I answered, gently patting her arm.
Rory coughed, setting her drink down to avoid choking. "And you think you're going to win? Against her?" A boisterous laugh escaped her lips, a sound that was too foreign to me.
Levi shook his head, strands of hair falling in front of his face. "You know nothing, Sterling."
Rory waved her hand in front of his face. "Discount over five years of friendship, then. I know plenty, and that means I know you're going to lose. She could drink enough liquor to fill a cow."
Theo leaned across the bar counter, holding up a glass bottle of vodka. "How about we test that theory?" He suggested, his brow raising.
I reached for the bottle he held, brushing my hand against his. "Is this on the house?" I mused, grinning. He opened his mouth in a perplexed manner as if he was going to say no, so I spoke again. "I am your favorite, aren't I, Theo?"
