Allison Moreau did the best she could to keep help me keep my mind off my asshole brother.
The stinging in my face every now and then was the only thing that kept reminding me of Carlo being a dick.
I'm sorry, I've gotta stop cursing.
Allison took me to the waterfall I had taken her to two years ago, when I was going to confess. It was hard to believe that that was two years ago already.
As Allison and I were walking, I felt my should collide with someones, making the two of us lose our balance.
"Oh, I'm sorry, man." The voice said. "I didn't see you there."
"That's alright." I said, brushing it off.
He looked like he wanted to say something more, but I walked forward, ignoring him. I stood at the railing with Allison, and she turned and gave me a smile.
"Do you remember when you brought me here right before we found out we were playing in the Goodwill Games?"
I nodded. "It's hard to believe that that was two years ago, already."
She nodded. "I know. Do you ever miss them? The other five, I mean?"
"Everyone but Luis." I said, honestly.
The ebony haired girl gave me a look. "You still holding a grudge on him?"
I nodded, gaving her a wide smile. She shook her head, rolling her eyes. "I still don't understand why you didn't like him in the first place."
"And I don't understand why you did." I mumbled under my breath.
"Hmm?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Nothing." I shook my head, turning to face the water.
It was pathetic. Two years had passed since we had seen him, and I was still jealous of him.
I gave another hard sigh, clenching my jaw, trying to enjoy the rest of the day with Allison.

Allison Moreau looked pretty.
We had just gotten off the stage, where Bombay had given a speech about our scholarships. The only thing I could focus on, though, was Allison in her dress.
Not in a weird way. At least, I didn't think it was weird. As I stared at the others, I let out a small sigh when I saw who all was there, as well as who wasn't there.
Apparently, Dean either didn't get a scholarship, or he didn't want to come back and play with us, because he wasn't there. We had everyone here. Everyone but Dean and Jesse.
I cleared my throat, trying to put my mind on something else. I shuffled around awkwardly, trying to find someone to talk to. I ended up with Russ and Kenny, who were both joking around.
"Hey, Guy." Kenny smiled. "I haven't seen you in ages."
I nodded. "Yeah. Not since...not since the Goodwill Games."
Kenny nodded. "So, what happened to your face."
I avoided looking at him, suddenly feeling embarrassed. "I got into a fight with my brother."
"I'm going to take a wild guess and say that he won."
"Kenny!"
"Look at your face, Guy." He defended. "It's blue and purple."
I huffed, but knew he was right. I had seen and could still feel the bruises on my face, but having everyone point them out was worse.
"Yeah, I got my ass kicked. It's not that's never happened to anyone else." I grumbled.
"Yeah, but you just don't seem like the fighting type." Kenny said.
"Yeah, did Allison approve of it?" Russ mocked.
I glared at him, making him chuckle a bit.
"I don't always do what she says." I bit back.
Russ and Kenny shared a look. Russ looked over my shoulder and said, "I think Allison wants you to turn around."
As soon as I did so, the two started laughing. My face turned red, andI glared at them.
"You're like a puppy, Germaine." Russ laughed.
I rolled my eyes, telling them I'd see them later, and I was going to go talk to Averman.
As I walked away, I could still here them laughing. I scoffed silently under my breath, grumbling to myself.

Allison Moreau spent the last day of summer vacation with me.
We spent it relaxing around all day, just sitting in each other's silence. As we did so, one of the only things I could focus on was how close we were to each other.
Maybe think about stuff like that made me a love sick boy, but I honestly couldn't care less right now. I couldn't remember the last time I sat in silence and wasn't uncomfortable. I could have sat there for hours with her, but unfortunately, lunch was ready.
"Guy, Allison," Marcel said, poking his head in. "Lunch is ready."
I sighed, turning my head to look at Allison, who gave my brother one of her pretty smiles.
"We'll be down in a minute." I told him.
He nodded, and closed my door, heading back down to the kitchen. I sighed, flopping backwards on my bed again. I looked at Allison, who had sat up, and was now smiling down at me.
"Come on, Guy." She said, sticking her hand out. "Let's go."
I gave a small groan, but grasped her hands anyway. I watched as she tried to pull me up, put it didn't work.
"Guy, come on." She said, trying to pull me up. "Do you want your brothers to come back in here?"
I gave another over dramatic sigh, but stood up. "I hate not being an only child."
"I think that would be really lonely." Allison answered.
"That's because you and Connie get along." I grumbled. "And she doesn't pound your face in every time you make her mad."
"I also don't hit her every time I get mad." She responded.
I rolled my eyes, heading down the stairs.
"Will quit stomping?" Carlo shouted.
I rolled my eyes, and landed as hard as I could coming down each step.
"You're impertinent, you know that?" Carlo snarled.
"And you're contumelious." I snapped.
Carlo looked at me with wide eyes. "How the hell do you know what that word means?"
"Because I'm smarter." I sneered.
Carlo glared at me, throwing a grilled cheese at me. "Take your food and leave."
I made a face at him, and he made one back.
"Okay," Allison said. "How about me and you can sit at the table, and Marcel and Carlo can sit at the counter."
I nodded, following after Allison, trying to decide the best way to punch Carlo without getting my ass handed to me again.
