Yooha kneel on the ground in front of the Queen.
"It's been awhile since we last meet, my dear"
"I apologize for the lack of visits" Yooha said with her head bowed.
"It's okay, Yooha. I understand that you been practicing a lot these days"
Yooha stay silence at the Queen remarks. She doesn't enjoy visiting the palace anymore because every time she did comes, Yooha have to deal with people who keep matching her with the crown prince.
Yooha doesn't think she deserve the position next to the crown prince. Her hands are dirty. The sickening guts in her heart doesn't allow her to be happy.
"How are Choi's household these days?" The Queen asked.
"It's going fine, your Royal Highness"
"It's good then..." She replied before speaking up about the topics that been in her head whole days
"I heard that you still close with that Lord Yoon Seungho"
"...yes I am. Why are you asking, your Royal Highness?"
"Nothing it's just... Rumor around him wasn't good so I suggest you to stop hanging around him"
"......... I am sorry if I might sound rude but I don't think I can do that. Seungho is someone part of my whole life and I don't think I can just stop due to bad rumours" Yooha said looking at the Queen before standing up with head hang low
"If you doesn't like someone who hang around him then I will stop coming here but I won't stop be around him" Yooha bowed and turned before leave the palace.
This is not the first time people asking her to stop hanging around Seungho. Even her own father beat her, threatening to stop hanging out with Seungho but she won't.
Yooha walked out the palace and Duyun immediately stand next to her, guarding her.
"Are you okay, my lady?"
Yooha doesn't reply and just stare ahead of them. Her heart aching so badly.
"Did.....the queen tell you to stop hanging out with Seungho?"
"......why everyone think so badly of him?"
"...I am not sure but I think it's probably for what he done most of the times"
"But I kill more people and I....." Yooha stopped herself. If she continues, she might be crying at the emotions burst that she feelings.
She was the only person Seungho have in his life and she won't leave him alone.
They both headed home ignoring everything that people whispers around them.
"Yooha!" Someone shouted. Yooha turned around and saw the crown prince running towards her.
"Don't take what my mother says to heart! She just...." Yooha looked at him and stopped him herself
"People are watching, your highness. Please do not carelessly speak up about things" she reminded him before want to leave but he stopped her.
"Why? Why every time we spoke....you act like this? As if talking to you is the biggest sin I will ever did?"
".......don't be ridiculous, your highness. I am just stating the facts" she said and immediately leave.
Duyun glanced at the crown prince before followed his lady without saying anything. She needs her time.
The crown prince doesn't even cares about the gazes that he gotten after running after a lady like that.
