Chapter 14

The next morning, Aera prepared the breakfast as usual and brought it inside Yooha's chamber to eat together.

Yooha sat down next to Duyun while Sunoo is on her other side.

Aera looked around and was bewildered because she doesn't saw Nakyum yet.

"where is Nakyum?" she asked Yooha who been extra quiet since earlier.

Yooha shrugged, Duyun and Sunoo give each other an eyes at her answer. "Should I go and check?" Sunoo said, standing up before heading to Nakyum's room.

Sunoo knocked before sliding the door and all he can saw is lying figure. Sunoo chuckled and walked even closer. he bending to shake the figure and after a few shake, Nakyum moved.

"Nakyum, let's go and eat together" he said shaking him again.

Nakyum sit up before rubbing his eyes, yawning "is it already morning?" he asked as Sunoo giggled, looking at his cute messy face.

"it's already morning. Yooha was waiting so let's go" Sunoo said. Nakyum was taken back a bit at the name of the lady he meet last night.

but before he can even protest, Sunoo already grabbing his wrist and brought him to her chamber.

"you are late today, Nakyum" Aera said with smile as Duyun nudged her side "it's normal so don't worry" he comfort Nakyum before handing Nakyum his bowl.

Yooha already begin eating silently while Aera and Duyun chattering about some random things.

"are you going to Seungho's residence after this, my lady?" Aera asked, turning her attention to Yooha.

"I am" she answered quite too shortly.

Nakyum glanced at her with wary knowing what he did last night might still upset her. he want to apologise but how?

"I see. you are going with our lady right Duyun?"

"not today. Master Choi asked me to send something at the palace so I don't think I had the times"

"our lady going by herself?"

"why? is it that bad?"

Yooha shut them "I am just going to visit Seungho. there's no need for guard" she said wasn't looking at them anymore.

"Yooha can protect herself" Sunoo said with proud grin as Duyun nodded.

after that, they continue back eating while talking about other topics. Aera was the one who stand up first before picking up the dirty dishes and headed out with the tray.

"I will headed out too" Duyun said, bowed his head and leave the room too.

Sunoo yawned and looked at Yooha "you should come and visit my chamber too sometimes" he reminded her before standing up and leave too.

leaving Yooha and Nakyum awkwardly.

Yooha handed him a small bag of  mun (文)<coins>. "that's enough for a month. I will give more next month" she said before standing up to leave.

Nakyum grab her hanbok sleeve "i-im sorry" he hang his head low. Yooha looked down on him before stare at him.

"there's no need" she replied before pulling her arm away and leave the room without another words. Nakyum drops hands was keep on his lap. his tears pouring out of his eyes feeling bad for what he did.

Nakyum stand up and leave the room  before heading to the backyard where there are flower garden there.

He crouched down while touching the flowers tenderly before he heard people talking behind him.
