Blind Love (Kakashi x Reader)

Chapter 1

10 years later

Its been 10 years since the nine-tails attack on the village. It has been hell these past 10 years due to the fact my mother was killed and word got out that my father is the third hokage. I still receive hate to this day about being an affair child. Its not like I had a choice in who my father is. To this day, I only get along with Asuma, my brother. We're roughly the same age. He's only three months older than me. 

I missed the way life was when mother was around. She would go on her missions and return in no time. I didn't have to worry being bullied or getting judged because of who my father was. I missed it when no one but us knew who he was. 

I never got along with my father. I was always causing trouble for him. I never listen to him. I really only listen to Asuma as we were growing up. I was just happy to have him in life.  Asuma kept me sane and out of trouble when he could. I still went to school and kept my grades up. Now at age 24, I am Jonin and working my way into the Anbu, just like my mother. 

My current living status right now is living with my brothers girlfriend, Kurenai. We have been living with each other for three years now. I played match maker and finally got them together and they have been together since. Now Kurenai is on a mission to find someone for me. I told her I did not want to be with anyone right now, as this was the age my mother started her affair. I do not want any rumors to start about me "following in my mothers foot steps." There have already been plenty going around as it is. 

I was sitting in my room about to take a shower after training for the day, when I hear a knock on my door. 

"Hey (y/n), want to go the bar with me and some girlfriends? Just for a girls night, please? You really need to get out. I promise I won't ask again for a while, " Kurenai asked me.

"Is this going to be one of those nights you try to get me to go home with someone at the bar?" I asked her. 

"No, I promise its just us girls going out for a few drinks." she stated. 

I could tell she was up to something by the look on her face. This is how Kurenai tries to set me up with men. If it's not with my brothers friends, its men at the bar. I'm not going to lie, some I have went home with just to please her, but after that night, I ghost them. 

I started thinking about how much fun we have when we do go out, and figured it wouldn't hurt to just let loose. Escpically after the long week of missions and training I had. 

"Sure. I'll go, but promise me you won't try to play matchmaker while we're out. If I find someone, I find someone. I want to do it on my own," I stated giving her a slight glare.

" I promise no matchmaking will be done tonight," she said holding her right hand up. 

"Good. when do I need to be ready?" I asked sitting on my bed.

"Be ready by 11. No later," Kurenai said as she skipped out of my room with a happy smile on her face.

She better be happy I'm in the mood to go out tonight. I usually stay home on a Friday night and relax before I wake up to train the next day. I looked at the clock on my way to see what time it was. It was 6:30. I have enough time to take a nap and shower before I need to get ready. I laid back on by bed and started to doze off. Who knows, maybe I will find someone to go home with tonight.
