The car ride home felt like forever, even though I slept through most of it. There was no songs on the radio, it was on mute, and so was Cameron and I.
Once we arrived at our house, I immediately grabbed my luggage and ran inside. I dropped my suitcase in my room then slammed my door shut, locking it as well. My heart was in huge pain. I miss Matthew so much. I missed his cuddles and his kisses and his voice, I even missed how he was bi-polar at points. I missed him.
I picked up my phone and decided to text Matthew.
J- I miss you :(
And instantly he texted me back, kinda like he was waiting for me.
M- I miss you more babe :'(
M- I miss your smile
M- I miss your laugh
M- I miss your eyes
J- okay okay, I get it.
M- Love youuuuu
J- I love you too babe
M- I gtg sleep Good Night babe, I love you so so much.
J- Night babe.
I smiled as I read the text conversation we just had, over and over again. I heard a knock on the door and I yelled, "I'm busy!"
"It's Cameron." he said on the other side of the door.
"Oh," I said. "I'm still busy."
"I know your probably mad at me, but please let me in."
"You threw me at a wall." I said.
"I didn't mean to."
"Then uh, go away."
"Fine, but we have to talk tomorrow." he said. I didn't reply. then I heard his footsteps depart. I grabbed my towel and a pair of sweatpants and I looked in my suitcase for a shirt. Then... I found one of Matt's shirts. It had a note taped to it.
Hey babe,
here's a shirt of mine when you miss me, because I know I already miss you.
Love you,
Matt.
I smiled wide as I picked it up and went to go take a shower.
After, when I was done, I threw my underwear and bra on then my sweatpants and then Matt's shirt. I walked back out and laid in bed. I stared at my phone and sighed, wishing Matt would text me. I shut the light off and put my phone on my bedside table, charging it. Then I closed my eyes and fell into a long deep sleep.
