My mom and I were watching movies and eating ice cream in my room. I know, you may think that's weird but she's like my best friend. "Hey mom?" I said.

"Hmmm?" she hummed in response.

"Can I move?" I asked. My mom paused the movie then sat up, and stared at me with disbelief in her eyes. Disbelief and surprise filled her big brown eyes that stared back at me.

"Move?" she asked.

"Just out of town, possibly to LA, I can get my own job, I can branch it off of Vine, I mean maybe I can even join Magcon, and-"

"Honey calm down." she said. I took a deep breath and she smiled. "I think it's a great idea... but...." she said, trailing off.

"Promise me you won't forget about ol' ma." she said.

I smiled wide and nodded, "I would never forget about my best friend." I said.

"Okay." she said, "Awe my little baby is moving out." she said and hugged me. I smiled wide as I embraced her tightly.

"I found this really good apartment, it's down in the city. It's the apartment building by the big park."

"Four Seasons Apartment Building?" she asked. I nodded. "That's a great place to live." she said. I smiled wide. "here, I'll get the cardboard boxes from Home Depot, while I'm gone, buy that apartment, and put it on my credit card okay?"

"Thank you mom, I'll pay you back." I said. My mother and I smiled wide as she walked out of my room to go to Home Depot. I pulled out my laptop and sat at my desk and logged in. I went online and bought the apartment and smiled wide as I looked through the photos one more time.... I'm moving out.

Then out of no where, my phone went off about 3 dings. I picked up my phone and saw the texts... from the one person who I didn't want to talk to right now..... Matt.

Matt: Hey, it's Matt...

Matt: Jen are you there?

Matt: We have to talk.....
