I grabbed my phone and quickly called Matt. He answered on the second ring. "Hey Jen? where are you? I'm standing outside your door right now...." He said.

"Oh. Uhhh." I said "change of plans." I said and forced out a cough "I'm kinda... Sick....." I lied. Ugh it hurt so much to lie to him. But I didn't have time to explain everything. He needed to get away from my house before my punishment got 100 times worse...

"That sounds like a lie." He said, his voice tinted with disappointment.

"I-it's not...." I said.

"Jen..." He breathed out. "What's going on??"

"You can't be here at my house. Please just.... Go home and watch a movie or something."

"I can't just with a movie right now Jen." He said, I could tell he was getting angry in the tone of his voice. "For all I could know you could be cheating on me."

"Matthew." I said. "I'm not I promise. I just can't see you right now." I said with guilt all over my words. "I'm sorry."

The line wet silent, he didn't end. I didn't end. But we both didn't say a word. After a bit Matthew broke the silence saying, "do what you want to do....." I could hear his voice, threatening to break. "But I love you," his voice broke. "J-just remember that...." He said and quickly ended.

I just... I just broke him. I just broke the love of my life....

There was a knock on the door and my eyes were welled up. I quickly made try tears go away and walked up to my door and opened it. It was Cameron. "Thanks a lot." I said sarcastically.

"Jen..." He sighed. "I'm sorry okay?"

"You told mom something and that made her make me grounded for a whole week cam!!" I raised my voice. "And because of that Matt thinks I'm cheating on him and everything is ruined."

"I'm sorry." He said. "But I need to talk to you."

"I don't wanna hear it." I snapped.

"Please...." He said. I sat down on my bed and groaned. "What." I said.

Cameron sat down next to me and said, "first of all I'm really sorry. I was the reason why mom told you to stop seeing Matt for a while..."

"I knew it." I muttered

"But when I saw the disappointment in your face... I instantly regretted it." He said with sympathy in his voice.

"It's fine. I accept your apology." I said. "We are siblings after all."

"Okay thank god because I thought you'd be mad at me forever and that wouldn't be good."

"Why?" I asked. "You're always on tour and I'm gonna be at college soon."

"Ummm." He said, making me nervous.

"Cameron...." I said turning myself to face him. "What's going on?"

"Don't freak out or anything but...."
