Chapter 33

*the next day, In the afternoon*

"awe my two little babies are leaving the nesttt." my mother said.

"Mom, cmon I'm a responsible adult." Cameron said. Mom and I gave Cam an unbelieving  look. "What?" Cameron asked confused. Mom and I laughed slightly. 

"Make sure you watch him," Mom said to me, gesturing towards Cameron. I giggled and nodded, "I will." I told her."

"What??" Cameron said, "Hey cmon, I'm older than her." he said. Mom and I ignored him as she embraced me with a warm hug. "I love you honey." Mom said into my ear. "I'll miss you sooooo much." she said.

"Ahem?" Cameron fake coughed. I laughed as mom let go of me and hugged him, "I love you too Cam." Mom said, making Cameron smile like a little boy getting a ton of candy. 

"Watch out for each other okay?" Mom asked. Cameron and I nodded. "Okay cmon get outta here before I regret letting you guys go." she said as she opened the front doors, her eyes starting to well up with tears. I gave her a last hug, as Cameron put our suitcases in the car. I got into the car and Cameron went to go talk to mom. I was in the car, all doors closed so I didn't know what they were talking about. I went on my phone and texted Matt.

J- Hey ;)

The text instantly got read but he didn't reply. I frowned as I put my phone in my pocket. I looked up and saw Cameron and mom looking at me with sympathy. i brushed it off my shoulder as I started to think about Matthew again. 

Is he ignoring me??

I heard the car door open and I looked to my left to see Cameron get in, closing the door as he sat down. "hey." he said, not looking at me, starting the car up. 

"hello." I said.

"ready to go??" he asked. I nodded my head happily. Cameron smiled as he pulled out of our driveway. I waved goodbye to my mom again, right before Cameron drove away from the house. I watched as it got smaller and smaller each second. 

"Don't look back baby sis." I heard Cameron's voice say, "Always look forward." he said. 

When I couldn't see the house anymore I looked forward at the road. I smiled wide. "Wow." I said, "We're really going to LA."

"Not going, we're moving there." Cameron said, "We're gonna live our dreams out to the best and have the time of our lives and love who we want to love and just be us."

"Love who we want to love?" I asked, "You've never said that before."

"It's new." Cam said, smiling. I giggled. I felt as my phone vibrated in my pocket and I quickly got it out to see Matt's name illuminated on my phone. I clicked on the answer button and smiled wide, "Good afternoon my prince, just waking up?" I asked.

"Nah I woke up a while a go." he said, "what are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm currently in a car...." I said. "I'm heading to LA!!!" 

"Wait what?" he asked, "YOU ARE?!?!" 

I giggled as I heard his cute happy, contagious laughter. "Yes baby," I said, "And guess what?"

"What?" he asked.

"I'm gonna be staying with you and all the guys." I said.

"Mmmmm. We're going to have a lot of fun." He said, I knew he was smirking. 

"Matt i'm in the car with my brother." I whispered into the phone, covering my hand over my mouth and the phone, trying my best not to let Cameron hear. I felt Cameron's gaze on me as he drove, he heard.....

"well whispering like that isn't helping." he said, his voice starting to get hoarse.

"Matthew!" I whisper yelled.

"ugh you make me so hor-"

"MATT!" I yelled into the phone. I looked at Cam and he was trying his best to keep in his laughter. "Stop it." I said to Matt through the phone, "I'll call you later, bye." I said.

"bye babe." he said.

Even though I was mad at him, him calling me names like that, makes my stomach go wild.

I don't know what's happening to me.... Every time he smiles, I smile. When he laughs, I laugh. When he calls me nick names.. it makes my stomach go wild. i feel so different when I'm with Matt... it's not like a feeling you'd feel with a friend, or your brother, or parents, or sister, nothing... It just... different.
