Chapter 5 - I love it when a plan comes together...

I grinned as I walked over to my brother and took the pan from him, he frowned as I grinned, "don't worry brother, I have this" I said.

He sighed as I grabbed the bits needed to make waffles as I believed that was what my brother was trying to make.

I shoved the pan in the sink and I walked over to the cupboard and bent down, I pulled out the waffle maker and smirked as Finn walked
over to me, "umm what is that?" he asked.

I laughed, "this is a waffle maker," I explained.

He still looked confused as i opened it, "it makes the waffles for us, all i need to do is make the mixture" i explained.

He nodded, "neat" he said.

I laughed as I walked over to the side and plugged it in and noticed that Bekah walked into the room and frowned, "since when do we have a
waffle maker?" Bekah asked.

I turned to her and laughed, "since i had a phase of wanting nothing but waffles and Nik bought it so we weren't buying out all the time" i
explained.

She laughed, "sounds about right" she said.

I smirked as she looked around and frowned, "where is our brother?" she asked.

I sighed, "asleep, he isn't dealing too well with your mother back" I explained.

She sighed as she nodded, "understandable" she said.

I smiled as she walked over to me, "let me know if we can do anything" she said.

I grinned, "he will be fine, he just needs time to deal" i explained.

She grinned as she wrapped her arms around me, "So you want to make the rest of us waffles" she asked.

I laughed as I nodded and grinned as she grinned and walked over to the side, I grabbed a bowl and went to add the ingredients needed.

I mixed them all together and turned to Finn, "Plain or chocolate" I asked.

He frowned, "what's the difference?" He asked.

I smiled, "Plain means it's just the mixture which is vanilla or i can add chocolate chunks or powder to make it chocolatey" i explained.

He smiled, "plain" he said.

I nodded as I turned to Elijah, "plain as well please" he said.

I grinned as I turned to Kol, "Chocolate" I asked.

He grinned as he nodded and I turned to Bekah, "chunk or complete" I asked.

She grinned, "chunk please" she said.

I nodded as I put the mixture for the 2 plain ones in the maker while I added the chunks to the ones for Nik, Bekah and myself as Kol was
the only chocoholic in the family.

The timer went off and I turned the maker around and grinned as Nik walked into the kitchen with his hair all over the place.

Elijah chuckled as he walked over to my husband and tried to flatten his hair as Nik hit his hands away, "i'm not a kid" he said.

Elijah smirked, "no but you are my little brother and I have the right" he said.

I chuckled as Nik gave us and the timer went off again, I walked over with two plates and plopped the waffles on the plates.

Nik got up from where Elijah was fussing and walked over to the cupboard. I knew that he had grabbed the toppings as he walked past me,
"syrup" he asked.

I nodded as he kissed me quickly, "you might need to show Finn" I explained.

He nodded as I put the mixture in for Kol, Rebekah and Nik and turned back to my family and grinned, Kol and Rebekah were laughing at
something as Finn was poking his waffle.
