Sorry this took a while, i have been on Easter holidays the kids as they were on half term and writing didn't happen for me then, i hope you enjoy...

Nik moaned as he rolled over making me roll my eyes, "you can be so dramatic when you want to be" I muttered.

He laughed as he turned to face me and wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me closer to him, "as can my darling wife" he said.

I grinned as he smiled, "so has that idiot brother in law massaged?" he asked.

I stuck my tongue out at him as I snapped my hand out and smirked as my phone appeared.

As I unlocked my phone I noticed that I had missed a call and frowned, "didn't even hear it," I muttered.

Nik smirked, "well we were loud that last round" he said.

I laughed as he was right and felt as Nik moved so he was sitting up and I sighed as he gently pulled me up as well, I leant against him and dialled my brother's number.

"Lizzie," Damon said.

I smirked, "Damon, I saw I had missed a call from you, all okay?" I asked.

He laughed, "well I thought you would like an update on all this sister" he said.

I frowned, "they've tried something already?" I asked.

He snorted, "of course not" he said.

I rolled my eyes at my brother as he laughed, "but being that they still speak in open areas, it means I can hear them" he said.

I laughed, "okay what's going on little brother" I asked.

He laughed, "so Elena is trying to find a way to get you linked again" he explained.

I sat up and frowned, "has she told Esther" I asked.

Nik frowned as he turned to me, "Love" he said.

Damon sighed, "not that I know of but she isn't here 100% of the time" he said.

I sighed as he had a point, "okay meaning I need to find out what the little witch knows" I muttered.

Damon coughed, "how, she takes vervain" he said.

I laughed, "I have my ways Damon" I said.

He laughed as I turned to Nik and smirked, "looks like we can take our new hybrid side for a spin" I said.

He smirked as I turned back to my phone, "let me know if you want out and you can come home" I said.

Damon sighed, "new Hybrid side?" he asked.

I laughed, "easier to explain when we are face to face brother" i said.

He laughed, "alright then, bye brother" he said.

Nik laughed as he took the phone from me and got out of bed making me moan as he was naked, "tease" I muttered.

He laughed as I laid down and thought about this issue with my mother in law; I knew she didn't like me or my husband still, not sure about the others but I knew Nik and I were her reason for doing this.

I also now knew that we couldn't be sure if she was now aware of us being unlinked, due to the idiot doppelganger and her husband to be.

and to top it off she wanted to use my power to kill us which was drawing a blank for me as i was not sure how she was going to do this, being that my magic couldn't be magically taken from me.

Knowing what I needed to be in front of this idiot woman and her little doppelganger, my family and I needed to come up with a plan for the next couple of weeks.
