13. A walk in the park

Looking at Val, Ein exclaimed in utter disbelief, "No... Fucking way."

"Fuck yeah it's real," She said proudly "get real Ein, get some bitches today cuz it's valentines" The pure evil on her face was so fundamental Ein thought he wanted to throw val off the building

"How the fuck is it already Valentine's!?" He said then sits down on the couch

"Dude, are you for real? Count the days you've been here and when you landed see if there's any difference"

Ein looks at his message with Aaron on which date it was sent before their landing

Since their arrival, almost three weeks have passed.

"What the fuck, what the shit-"

"No wait. I can't eat chocolate unless I feel goofy and su¡c! dal" He says in the realization

"I don't need Valentine's date partner, as you can see-"

A ping was heard on Eins phone, he quickly unlocks it to see Aaron's message

He looks at Val who was having the most blast having the chance to have a 'date' with Katelyn

The message reads out
"Hey, it seems I'm alone again, are you the same? If Val isn't there, then can we hang out again? My treat ^^"

Ein freaks out by throwing a pillow across the room Val notices and looks at him curiously, then finally smiled

"You got the chance to hang out with a dilf?" Ein immediately shot his look to her "Dilf? Is that a new nickname your giving him?" Ein said with pure disappointment

"Oh come on~ I was joking, alright I'll go prepare myself haha have fun with your 'hangout' with Aaron" She chuckled and left the living room while Ein was still on the couch

Ein rolled his eyes and looked back to Aaron's message

He thinks of a way to reply, but he is hesitant

"Wow... I've never been stuck on my phone this long to think of the right way to reply" He said to himself, "yeah whatever I'll be alone anyway"

"Sure! I still can't believe Val is going out with Katelyn but I'm down to hang out again :)"

He sent the message and a reply was quickly delivered back

"great! I'll get you at 9! ヾ(＾-＾)ノ"

Ein then looked at the time, he still had an hour to prepare, he shrugged and replied back

"Thats settled then, Can't wait for our first date(ㅅ˙³˙)♡~"

He sent it again with a chuckle, he was glad that he was feeling more confident and comfortable than usual, it was much easier to talk with Aaron now than before

time passed by and Val was gone, Ein was left alone with Val's spare key in her apartment while still deciding what to wear "should I go with the soft kind? or the confident type? or maybe both are too much..."

Ein then received another text, this time from aphmau

"uh excuse you? Valentina and Katelyn?? WHEN THE HELL WAS THAT??"

Ein laughs at her message replying to her with just the amount of context

"Since the day of Halloween, when we were gone, they both started talking online while Val was having a meltdown about her ex Girlfriends"

he sent his message, and went back to deciding what he would wear, he now only has 30 minutes left before Aaron pulls up at the apartment doors

'Yeah being simple isn't so bad... No wait that would be boring'

After a lot of thinking he went with a mix, he wore a binder, and a sleeveless shirt, then wore ripped jeans, along with a jacket Aphmau helped pick when they were gone

Since he had already showered earlier in the morning, he only fixed his hair to his liking

Which made him realize his hair got longer in just a few months
"... Maybe next week"

When he was in the kitchen drinking water, he heard a knock, knowing who it was he hurriedly went to the door to open it

When he did, he was greeted by Aaron in front of him

He was wearing his classical red Jacket with a symbolic white heart on the left side of his shoulder
With a black t-shirt and ripped blues jeans

His hair was different "did you get a new haircut?" He asked, Aaron, touched his hair "oh, yeah I did cut it short"

His hair was shortened exposing some of his scar he also noticed Aaron was growing out a beard, it was small but noticeable

I'd never see the day I'll ever witness him be this fuckin attractive with a beard-

He faked a cough then fixed himself "ahem- uh- I'm ready now, so let's go?" He stuttered Aaron raised his brow curiously but let him be

They both went to the same place they were before, then did the same things, food break, play in the arcade and look for some items that they could buy

It was repeatable but entertaining, but something was new something changed

When they left the mall, Aaron said he wanted to go somewhere with Ein

Ein didn't find it suspicious, but as soon as he saw balloons that were themed as hearts his heart pounded

When Aaron parked his car and both of them were out, he told Ein to follow him, Ein got nervous

"I wanted to walk in the park with you so... I hope it won't bore you," Aaron said rubbing the back of his head

They both started walking silently while the ambient in the background helped with their quietness

The walk was peaceful, but Ein didn't get the reason why he was brought here instead of aphmua

"Why... Exactly am I here with you? Uh- not that I hate it- just curious" He asked, Aaron stops and turns around to look at him

"Well... I want to surprise you"
He answered "I want to show you something" He grabs Eins hands and lead the way

There the view was seen, the sun slowly going down, placing a beautiful peach-like color in the sky with tints of orange and blue

There was no one there except the two of them

Spring leaves flow in the air, along with the water splash on the sides underneath the fence walls

It was beautiful

"This place is beautiful... How come I never knew of this?" Ein asked "because I've lived here longer than you did when you were gone" He explained

"Ein... I waited for you to come back before I let the others see this place, I wanted you to be the first to see it"

Just then, Ein felt a spark, a spark of happiness a kind of happiness he cannot explain

But he can tell, his heart was beating for him
