A/N: because of some delays this chapter might be a bit rushed ╥﹏╥

When Ein hurried back after using the bathroom, Zane and Travis were waiting for him in the hall. He figured they wanted to talk about the scene he accidentally walked in on. He prepared himself and walked up to them. "Hey Ein," Zane said a bit quietly. "Could you, uh... not tell anyone about what you saw?" Zane begged a little.

Travis was rubbing his own hands, and Ein raised a brow. "Sure, I'm not going to get myself involved with this—" He then cut himself off and rephrased his words. "Wait, no—what I meant is-"

Zane interrupted him, misunderstanding the situation. "It's alright, we understand"

"I'm gay," Ein said, making Zane speechless and Travis a bit flabbergasted. "Say what now?" Travis asked.

"I'm gay, homosexual. I like men," Ein repeated, making Zane finally understand. "Oh... Damn."

"Yeah, I know," Ein said. "I'm Bi..." Zane admitted. "I'm still unlabelled, but I'm using abro for a bit till I get an answer," Travis confessed. Ein nodded. "Nice to know."

An awkward silence hung in the air as the three didn't know what to say next. "Well, uh, I need to get back inside, but I promise I won't tell anybody," Ein said, trying to erase the awkwardness.

Zane, a bit confused, asked, "We're going to the same room though? And uh, thanks" Ein stood there a bit nervous. "Well, I'm with someone right now," Zane answered instantly. "Alrighty then, understandable. We'll leave you alone." After their goodbyes, Ein went back to where Aaron was, while Zane and Travis went back to the others.

Ein closed the door and walked beside the bed. Aaron tapped beside him, signaling Ein to sit with him.

Slowly, Ein sat with him, setting a silent room to be filled with thoughts and urges. "So, wanna go ahead and drink whisky instead of liquor?" Aaron asked.

Ein chuckled a bit. "Well, you've only dealt with my emotional side. Let's see how well you can be with my second phase," his eyes signaling danger as he got comfortable spending time with Aaron.

They both started to drink, conversation after conversation, and they seemed not to have the goal to stop. As their conversation became longer and time passed on, the effects started. Ein's emotional side was gone, and his second, however, was the one that Ein feared Aaron could not handle.

As Ein's way of talking switched to affectionate, his words didn't do much at first and just made Aaron a bit confused. As minutes passed on, Ein's words started to affect him. Aaron's scars were most targeted. "How the hell do you find these scars cool?"

"Because, they look like marks that show you how Alive you are"

"I- uhm, thanks? But I did cut my hair short so that I won't be as irritated when it gets hot in summer."

"I'd rather watch you Wear them proudly like a crown." Their talks went back and forth as Aaron struggled to find words.

Ein then started comparing their hands and then held it. "Your hands are bigger than mine... Say, how much strength could you pull to pin me on this bed?" Aaron didn't know what to say, and Ein stared at him with an inviting look, intoxicated by whisky.

"N-not when you're drunk," Aaron stuttered. "I need you sober-,"

Aaron said, knowing where this could potentially lead to.

Ein moved and got closer to Aaron, giving him an embracing hug. "You don't have any idea how much I've tried to move on from you." Aaron became stiff.

"Yet, you pull these strings, making me fall even more for you and making it harder for me to escape," Ein said softly, unaware of what he was admitting. Aaron couldn't understand his body, feeling warm. "Your heart's beating fast. Are you okay?" Ein said, looking up at Aaron.

Aaron's voice disappeared as he couldn't get out a single word. His heart pounded crazily, confused as to what he was hearing.

"Aaron?" Ein panicked as he realized what was going on. Ein slowly became aware as he separated himself from Aaron.

Although his head hurt from the sudden minor ache, he quickly learned that he had just confessed.

Quickly, Ein drank a cup of water, as his heart pounded from the sudden pressure of the atmosphere. "L-look, uhm, you don't have to answer it," Ein said, as things had now escalated.

"I, uh—yeah, shit, I can't speak. Wait, just hold on—" Because of the panic he felt, he couldn't form actual sentences. While Aaron watched him struggle, he took the courage to speak up, even if his words might confuse Ein.

"Look, Ein, I understand well maybe I don't, but hear me out," Aaron said, holding both of Ein's shoulders, making sure he looked at him and heard him.

"That problem I told you weeks ago about me being confused about myself and my feelings for Aphmau," he continued to struggle but pushed forward, "it's about you too."

Ein stared at him, slightly curious but scared for the worst. "You've been giving me these mixed signals, and I don't know how to deal with them anymore. At first, I did, but it's gotten complicated."

Aaron bit his lip and continued fighting back the urge to stay silent. "I've been trying to get Aphmau's attention, but since she's always out I couldn't do anything I respect her too much and my feelings for her have been complicated ever since I kissed you."

"And what I meant is, when I had the urge to kiss you..." Ein stared at him as his face became warm. "And I didn't know if I liked it or if I didn't—and that's why I was curious."

"Look, I'm not rejecting your affection for me, nor am I accepting it." Aaron took a deep breath and exhaled. "It's not yet alright? Just... wait for me."

Aaron's words gave Ein hope, although he didn't want to have high hopes. Aaron sounded like there might actually be a chance.

"Alright, I, uh, understand..." Both of them now had no words left to say as the room became still. Although Aaron was half-drunk, he was still functional. Ein was fighting the urge to sob in front of Aaron.

"Although this all started because of an urge to kiss... Can I?" Knowing what he was implying, Ein gave his consent, and Aaron made the first move.

This shouldn't really be happening right now, but Ein couldn't seem to let go as he let Aaron take the lead. One tear in his left eye slowly went down as Aaron gave him a gentle kiss.
