15. scary sister

When Ein woke up, he was greeted with a delicious smell Floating around the room

As Ein collected the events that happened that night, his face was bright red Ein gets out of bed and decides to fix it later., he gets out of the room and looks at the kitchen

Aaron turned around to find Ein simply there next to the table. Both of them had nothing to say other than awkward good mornings. Aaron was there, half-naked, with his T-shirt on his shoulders and his hair wet.

"Uhm... I'll ready the food-" Followed by Ein saying "I'll get the plates-" Both of them yet again silent

"Hey... Sorry if I took it too far last night" Aaron added, bringing the tense situation to a close. "Hey uh, don't... Misunderstand it as a one-night stand request from me-" Ein responded, "Oh, it's- it's alright- it was just a favor you asked me."

Trying to say the right words making sure Ein understood what he meant

"The truth is uhm... I'm starting to doubt my feelings for aphmau and- I-" He pause and looked at Ein, who was patiently listening

As he struggles to explain he groans "Okay it's surprising I know, but what I'm trying to say is... Is that I'm somehow questioning myself? And-"

When he saw Ein's eyes widening he stopped to question him
"Are- are you alright?" He asked

"I'm okay, just didn't expect it" He sighs "So... You've been confused about yourself and your feelings for aphmau?" In that question, Aaron nodded in confirmation

Ein trying to understand the situation remembered something

"Hey... I think you should focus on the food first" He reminded him
Making Aaron jolt back to the food he was preparing and turned off the stove

When they both finished preparing the table they both sat there and ate

Going back to the situation from earlier Ein spoke "How are you questioning yourself? Your like... I don't know. The straightest guy in town, even in high school!" He half shouted

Aaron stared at him with pure disbelief with a mix of understandable expression

"Wow, I feel offended...? but that also makes sense" He replied

Ein finished his food, and puts it on the sink "You could leave it there when you're done" He said while washing his hands

"Alright~," Aaron said playfully, when he opens his phone, he was flabbergasted by many notifications from his sister

Realizing this, he facepalms himself "fuck" He said, Ein curious he asked, "It's my sister- I forgot to inform them I'm here with you..."

Ein sympathizes and goes to him "If you think it's urgent, I think you should go" He said "I think they're worried, you should go home to them you probably owe them an explanation" He blushes

"You know if you're uncomfortable we could keep this just between us for now," Aaron said, trying to comfort him a little
"Sure, yeah I think that's... A great idea"

When the two of them fixed themselves and were ready for the day, Ein decided to stay and sleep a little more

While Aaron left and went home, now driving he tried to call his sister's number

It was answered right away "AARON!" He first heard, his phone was on speaker
"Where the fuck were you?!" Her voice then faded away as if someone took her phone

"Yo Aaron, hurry back in here will you? Your sisters going wild worrying about you the whole day since last night" It was Lucinda who took the phone

"Yeah- sorry I'll be on my way, tell her I'm okay- and that I was with Ein the entire day and night yesterday and forgot to inform you guys about it, tell her I said I love her okay byee" Then he hanged up on the call

Now focusing on the road trying not to crash while speeding a little

When he was finally parked near his home, he quickly got out of the car and knocked at the door

Sadly Melissa was the one who opened it, with an angry face she drags him inside by his T-shirt

"You owed me an explanation, Aaron." Her sister said as she makes Aaron sit on the couch fire in her eyes

While the other three were in the kitchen trying to Eavesdrop on the conversation

"This... Is going to be complicated so-" She stomped her foot on the ground "Go straight to the point." Her voice was harsh, Aaron can't blame her... Especially from the things they've all experienced

"Okay- okay-" He fixed himself and prepared to explain "I was alone yesterday since all of you were out so I thought that hanging out with Ein would be the best choice for now since the rest are busy with their dates and friends and he was the only one available" He pauses trying to catch his breath, then continued

"So yeah same stuff we did in the mall then the park and uh His uhm apartment" He can feel his face becoming warm "Then... We uh I guess watched some... Movies? Then uh, I guess I forgot to go home since I was tired so I slept there" His voice was fading out, making Melissa raise her brow "And yeah, I forgot to tell you guys- sorry"

When he finished his explanation, Melissa could only sigh "Your voice is fading out and clear some of those things you've said are probably lies, sure I can believe the mall and park thing"

"But I just can't believe you're last explanation about movies and the part about you getting tired out of nowhere" His sweat runs cold as he can feel his own heart pounding "Aaron we've known each other since the day we were both still fetuses"

Someone in the kitchen area can be heard breaking down from laughter and then quickly quieting themselves

Aaron could only blush from everything, he couldn't lie in front of someone who knew him since they were kids

"I'm not that dumb Aaron, come on, tell the truth" Aaron tried to make up an excuse

"but it is the truth," He said, tired of this confrontation, he stood up
"Hey, we're not done here!" Melissa said, the situation became heated and Lucinda had to step in

"Hey hey, let's not fight here okay? if what Aaron said is true then it's the truth let's not push it too far okay? Dear come with me"
Aaron gladly left and went straight to his room

While Melissa and Lucinda were in the kitchen
"drink some water first," Lucinda said handing her a glass of water, Melissa glances at her hand and took it

"Thanks..." She then drank it and slowly calmed down "Sorry..." She apologized and Lucinda gently pat her hair "Don't say sorry me and Aaron I know that we can't blame you for worrying"

She then kissed her on her forehead, forgetting that Kim and aphmau were still here

Observing the two of them "I am so jealous right now", she glances at Kim " Kim can you do that to me?" She says with her puppy eyes "i- I don't know, can I?"

The two of them then burst out laughing making the pair look at them with confusion

Now in his room, Aaron only wore his pants, leaving almost all of his other clothing on the floor.

He still felt warm and doesn't know what else to do

What's going on with me?...

He asked himself, clearly full of raging thoughts

Was my desire for him lust-based?...

I don't consider him to be that.

I don't understand...

"Why do I feel like this?" he asks as his entire body, including his face, begins to feel warm. With that, he then received a message, he opens his phone and it was from Ein

 Ein👌: so, it turns out Valentina was home last night. When we did that thing... Help

His face turned hot, and he sat up as his heart beat harder and faster.

"Oh for goodness' sake."
