Dragon Trainer (Hiccup x oc)

chapter 3

Eria continued down the path following the knocked down trees. She was just looking at the trees when she heard a whine. She drew her bow and slowly walked to where she heard the whine come from.

Eria noticed a large rock and jogged up to it and took a breath before finally facing the beast. When she finally opened her eyes she noticed how scared the Dark Wing looked.

She sighed while lowering her bow. The beast finally made eye contact. The Dark Wing didn't even look violent, it just looked afraid. Eria set her bow on the ground and put her hand out.

The beast tried to move away but Eria spoke. "Shhhh. It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you, I just want pull the arrow out." The beast slowly relaxed.

Eria got to the beast and slowly grabbed the arrow, gripping it tightly before ripping it out. The Dark Wing let out a loud scream before flying off. Eria stood up and watched the beast fly off.

She smiled before going to find Hiccup. As she climbed up the hill she went down she heard a loud roar come from where Hiccup was. "Oh crap." She says as she runs towards the roar.

Eria made it to the path and went down it as fast as she could without falling. When she got to the ground she found Hiccup on the ground, unconscious.

"Hiccup? Hiccup!" She got to him quickly and lifted his head so it rested on her lap. "Hiccup! Cmon, wake up! Please..." A tear ran down Eria's face. She closed her eyes but opened them when she felt something warm on her cheek.

She opened her eyes to see Hiccup looking up at her. "Eria? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" Eria laughed. "No you idiot. I thought you were dead. I found you unconscious just laying here and it scared me."

Hiccup sat up and hugged her. She gripped the back of his shirt with all her strength. "Just please don't do that again, okay?"
