"So now Paxton and Flynn have another brother?" Madison asked me as I stuck my fork through a piece of chicken from my salad. We were out for lunch and I was dying to divulge the events that took place just yesterday.
"Yeah, he's so f.ucking hot too. He seems nice and harmless. I think he genuinely just wants to get to know his father. They're both trying to accept him, except Paxton always corrects someone when they say 'brother' instead of 'half-brother' which is ridiculous." I shrugged.
"I don't know, maybe that's just how he's coping. It's a lot to take in."
"Plus his parents are struggling too."
"Wait, so their dad cheated on their mom because they've been trying to get pregnant and couldn't?" I nodded my head. "But then she got pregnant two years later." I nodded my head again. "I don't get it though. If they were having problems, how the hell did she get pregnant with twins?"
I looked at her as I sipped from my water. "That's a very good question. I'm not sure. I know they were trying different things. Maybe IVF?"
"That still doesn't make sense to me." I shrugged. "Maybe he has super sperm."
I snorted out my water, chocking at the words that just came out of my best friend's mouth. "You did not just say that!" I hissed. She was cracking up in front of me and I was embarrassed for her. "You're ridiculous." I said, shaking my head.
She laughed at me and blew me a kiss. "Please, your life would be so boring if I weren't in it."
"Probably," I said sarcastically, shaking my head. "God, what am I going to do with you?"
"Love me unconditionally." She grinned.
I looked at my other best friend and laughed, knowing that she was irreplaceable.
Paxton's POV
"So what's going on between you and Chelsea?" Flynn asked from the passenger seat of my car. We were headed over to Aaron's hotel to take him out like our father asked.
I tightened my grip on the wheel and glanced back at my brother. "Nothing out of the ordinary."
"So you're going to tell me you're not sleeping with her? Really?" He said, giving me a flat look.
"That's exactly what I'm telling you."
"You're full of shit, you know that?"
"We all are brother, that's how our bodies get rid of the waste in us."
He glared at me. "You're a f.ucking waste." He mumbled under his breath, adjusting his sunglasses.
I snickered and continued speeding down the highway to Aaron's hotel.
