"I'm going to kill someone." Annie hissed, her eyes narrowing into tiny slits.
"Slow down there, tiger. You can't just go in there, guns blazin'."
"And why the f.uck not?" She snapped.
"Because then we can't have fun with this situation." I shrugged.
"What?"
"Look, she's cheating, we can see that. Why not make her sweat?"
The frown on her face lightened slightly. "I like the way you think."
"Okay, I'm going to head over when Joey comes back."
"You know him?"
"He's in Aaron's frat. They're best friends."
"This is all types of f.ucked up."
"Showtime!" I said eagerly.
I stood up and walked over to the table, placing a hand on Joey's shoulder.
"Hey, Joey right? Remember me? We met on New Year's Eve, I'm Chelsea." I smiled.
He looked up and his eyes widened. He immediately stood up and wrapped me in a bear hug.
"F.ucking finally!" He shouted. "Oh dude, Aaron isn't gonna believe this." He grinned.
I smiled. I liked Joey, I really did. He was an idiot, but he was a lovable idiot. I shifted my gaze and saw Tiffany tense.
"Oh, this is my girl Tiffany. Tiff, this is Aaron's girlfriend, Chelsea."
She smiled weekly at me. "Nice to meet you."
I faked a smile and cocked my head to the side. "You know, you really remind me of someone I know."
"Yeah, I get that a lot. Familiar face and all. You never know in this city."
I kept my eyes trained on her. "Right..."
"So what are you doing? Didn't you just get here?"
"Yeah, my roommate was showing me her favorite place to eat."
"No way? Where is she?"
I turned around and motioned for Annie to come over.
"Guys, this is Annie." I grinned.
Tiffany sighed, rubbing her face. "F.uck."
"Hey babe." Annie said, shooting Tiffany a tight-lipped smile.
"Babe?" Joey asked.
"Joe-"
"Oh she didn't tell you? She has a girlfriend."
"I knew you were bi... What the hell are they talking about?"
"Joey listen, I can ex-"
"Oh, you didn't think you should tell him about me? About how last night you were screaming my f.ucking name? Not his?"
Holy shit. Shots fired.
"Annie can you just-"
"I'm sorry, did I miss the part where we said we would be in an open relationship?" Joey asked.
"No I-"
"Don't worry, you're not the only one she betrayed."
Joey scoffed, shaking his head as he pushed his chair back. "I can't f.ucking believe you."
"I'm sorry! Okay? I'm sorry. I really liked being friends and when I kissed you, I... I don't know. I figured no one would get hurt."
"When has cheating ever been okay?" Annie shouted, causing people to glance over.
