It was a cloudy spring evening yet the room felt hotter than on a summer afternoon. You were breathing heavily, and felt a second away from melting into the willing arms of the man behind you. As you sat in his lap, you could feel the red-haired man's heartbeat against your back. It was reassuring to know that you were not the only one getting wound up from all this.
His slender hands inched closer to your hip and toyed with the fastening of your skirt. "So very impatient, Master Diluc." The blue-haired man spoke in a playful tone as he leaned against your dressing table. He stood up straight and stalked towards you like a hungry beast. Leaning down, his long hair tickled your bare shoulder and against your will, a whimper left your lips.
Your head rolled back, resting atop Diluc's chest and you could hear the thumping now. It made your core feel warm and quiver. His deft fingers started to undo your skirt, and you felt your face body up even more.
Unlike his thoughts which were telling him to ravage you, Kaeya lay a gentle kiss on your forehead. "Did you miss us, little bunny?" he spoke in a seductive tone, though it had an intense gentleness compared to his everyday faux friendliness. "I missed you a lot." He lay another kiss, now at the edge of your lips.
"What about you, Master Diluc, did you miss her?" he teased his brother. Diluc did not seem bothered by him. He seemed sure now, as if some truth had made itself known to him. He took a deep breath, burying his head in your hair, and whispered near your ear, "I missed her more than I knew."
Kaeya lifted your chin and kissed your lips. Your face had a red flush and his hand was cool against your chin. The redhead was busy sliding his hand under your undone waistband, warm hands softly brushing against your thighs.
You closed your eyes and remembered the first time you had met the two – back when they were two mischievous boys, when the burdens they carried were much lighter. Kaeya bit your lower lip lightly, while one of his hands tangled itself in your hair, and the other rested against your collarbone.
Your own hands were limp in your lap, and after a few seconds you lifted them up. One reached for Kaeya's neck and the other caressed Diluc's cheek. You felt like you were on fire, but the night had not even begun.

There was patter of footsteps heard in the idle woods. A flock of birds flew up from the ground, away from the rowdiness of the two boys running swiftly as the wind. "Last one to reach Springvale is a Geovishap Hatchling!" the grinning blue-haired one shouted.
"Not everything has to be a contest, Kaeya." The redhead sighed at his brother's usual antics, picking up his pace nonetheless. "Why, are you scared you will lose?" Kaeya smile grew wider, knowing Diluc had taken the bait.
The one day they got free time from their rigorous training, they decided to spend it in each other's company. To pick their activity for the day, they played a game of rock-paper-scissors, which the older redhead won. Thus, they began their journey towards Springvale to buy lunch from the renowned chef, Brook.
They set out at noon, and had, perhaps, underestimated the heat of Mondstadt's summer sun. By the time they reached the small town, they were almost drenched in sweat and breathing heavily.
They stopped south of Springvale, at the edge of the lake where Calla Lilys grew. Kaeya bent down and plucked one, delicately twirling it between his slim fingers. Then, he stopped and sniffed the air. Diluc was scooping out some water in his un-gloved hands, and after a split second of thinking, splashed it on his brother's face.
"Diluc! Why you!" he let out an indignant shout and ran towards him. Diluc's boyish face broke into a rare smile as he sprinted to escape his enraged brother. They ran up the steps of the town and came near an opened window of the southmost house. The redhead's steps froze abruptly, and thus, his brother swivelled to avoid running into him, but ended up falling unceremoniously.
