We arrived back at the BAU yesterday and we have been in the office since 7am this morning. It's now 9am and the lift has just pinged. Everyone looks towards it and Aaron walks in with bags under his eyes. He definitely hasn't slept. He walks over to my desk and hands me a piece of paper.

"Strauss wants a report on the last 2 months" He says
"Thank you" I say as I take the report. He walks back up to his office. I leave it 5 minutes and then make my way up to his office. I knock and I hear him say 'come in'.

I walk inside and he sighs when he sees me walk in. He stands up and closes the blinds. After he's done he walks towards me and pulls me towards him, hugging me. I relax into the hug and he sighs.

"Are you okay?" I ask and he doesn't answer me. I pull away from the hug and look at him.
"Aaron?"
"I'm fine" He sighs
"Don't lie"

"Just, don't" He says and I listen, not pressing any more. He sits in his chair and I walk closer to him.
"Did you tell Harry?" I ask him and he shakes his head
"I wanted to but Emily convinced me it would do more harm than good" He says and I sigh in relief
"She was right, thank you. For everything that you did" I say

"I thought you were dead" He says as he looks up at me and I give him a sympathetic glance.
"I'm so sorry"
"It wasn't your fault" I place my hand at the back of his neck and he wraps his arm around my waist. I hold his head against me and he pulls away and looks back up at me.

"You should get back to work" I say and he nods
"Can I see you tonight?" He asks
"Of course, I'll wait for you after work" I smile at him as I make my way out of his office.

We just had a paperwork day today and it is always the most boring thing ever. I have just finished my last piece of paperwork and except for Derek, i'm the last person left.
"Are you nearly done?" I ask Derek as I walk over to his desk and he smiles at me

"Last one" He smiles
"Okay, i'm just gonna tell Hotch i'm leaving" I say and he nods as he looks back towards his paperwork.
I knock on his door and walk in. He is half asleep on his hand whilst mindlessly filling out paperwork.

"Are you nearly done?" I ask him and he looks up slightly
"Two more" He says and I nod
"Take these" He passes me his keys
"Wait for me in the car" He says and I take the keys from his hand.

"I'll see you when you're done" I smile at him and he smiles back, small, but it's there.

I walk outside and thankfully Derek was already gone so I didn't have to explain to him why I was going to Aaron's car. I decide to wait at my desk so that we can both go down together. I hear him move in his office as he walks outside of his office. He locks his door and turns around to walk down the stairs and makes eye contact with me.

"I thought you were waiting in the car?" He asks and I shake my head
"I thought i'd wait here"
"Let's go" He says as he reaches me and I grab my bag.

"Did you speak to Harry yet? he's been worried about you" He says and I look at him
"I did on the plane, since when are you and Harry friends?" I ask, slightly smiling
"For months, he's a decent guy" He replies which causes me to smile wider

"What?" He asks and I shake my head
"Nothing" If anything I was ecstatic that the two men most important to me in the world were friends.

We exit the building and walk towards Aaron's car.
"I'll drive, you haven't slept for god knows how long" I say and he nods
"When was the last time you got a good night sleep?" I ask him and he looks at me from the passenger seat
"About 8 months ago" He says and I immediately think to when we were still together.
