It has been a week since i voted for Spencer and i was getting really anxious as to who everyone else had voted for. I tried to get it out of everyone but they all answered with the same response.

'That defeats the purpose'

If i have to hear that phrase one more time i might just kill every single one of them. I had already gone shopping with the girls to get our dresses for the night, they had all picked really nice dresses but JJ picked out this gorgeous dress for me and insisted that her and the girls brought it for me. We fought over it for twenty minutes before i eventually gave in letting them win. Myself and Aaron have been going amazingly since Felicitygate.

He insisted that we go on a date tonight so that's exactly what we are doing. I have been getting dressed for about an hour. I have on a tight baby blue dress and have just finished doing my makeup. I went for a subtle but cute look and i am waiting for Aaron to show up.

Almost on cue, at exactly 7 my bell rings. I grab my small clutch bag and keys and make my way towards my door. I open it and am met with Aaron in a white button up shirt with a baby blue tie that i swear matches my dress perfectly and black slacks. He smiles at me as he pulls flowers from behind his back.

I smile widely as I take them from him and kiss his lips.
"Tulips, if i remember correctly they are your favourite flower?" He says and I smile
"You remembered?" I ask and he furrows his brows
"Of course I remembered my darling" He says and I quickly kiss his lips again before placing the flowers in water and walking back to the door.

"Shall we?" He asks as he puts out his hand. I intertwine our fingers and follow him towards his car. He opens my door for me and then swiftly walks over to his side of the car. He starts his car and drives off. His right hand connected with mine resting on my lap and his left hand firmly on the steering wheel.

"Where are we going?" I ask and he turns to look at me for a second
"That's for me to know and you to find out" He winks and I roll my eyes. I watch where we are going, not recognising my surroundings.

He pulls up outside a gorgeous Italian restaurant and gets out of the car, opening my door for me and placing his hand in front of me to help me out. I graciously take his hand and he hands his keys to the man outside as we walk in.

"Name" The woman at the door says in a thick Italian accent.
"Hello to you too Sophia" He smiles and she lifts up her head, a large grin forming on her face.
"Ah Mr Hotchner!!! My favourite customer" She shakes his hand and turns to look at me.
"And who is this gorgeous lady!" She asks as she turns back to him

"This is my girlfriend, Y/n, Sophia, Sophia, Y/n" He says and she smiles widely at me and pulls me in for a hug, i hug her back smiling.
"Let's get you to your table Mr Hotchner!" She says enthusiastically and we follow her towards a table. It's decorated beautifully and we take a seat at the rounded table.

"Drinks and food menus are there, i'll be back later for the beautiful couple!" She says and I smile at her as she walks off.
"She's nice" I say and he smiles
"Yes she is, Dave brings me here all the time" He says and I smile.

"Have i already told you how beautiful you look?" He asks and I smile again
"I don't believe you have" I reply and he shakes his head
"Forgive me, you look breathtaking" He says as he kisses my cheek.

I look at the menu and hear Sophia come back over.
"What can i get you?" She asks and Aaron motions for me to go first.
"Can i have the tagliatelle and a whiskey on the rocks please" I smile at her and she scribbles it down looking expectantly at Aaron.
"I'll have the same please" He says and she nods before walking away.

"So what else have you got planned for today Mr romantic?" I ask him and he rolls his eyes, smiling wide.
"Well my love, after we finish here we are going to the fair and then i'm taking you home" He says and I raise my brows.
"Oh are you now?" I grin and he shakes his head
"Unfortunately i can't stay, i have a flight at 12 to England" He says and I furrow my brows looking at him.

"England? Why?" I ask
"I have some business to attend to but I will be back the day before the gala"
"Oh, okay then! I wish you'd have told me I would've came with you" I reply
"The team needs you whilst i'm gone" He says and I agree as I watch waiters bring our food over.

Our dinner was exceptional and I left a huge tip for Sophia as Aaron insisted on paying. We were now driving to the fair and Aaron has been extra quiet on the drive over.

"Are you okay?" I ask him as i squeeze his hand and he lifts our hands towards his mouth, placing a kiss on my hand
"I'm fine darling" He turns to me and smiles and I smile back.

We arrive at the fair and Aaron has been playing a carnival game to win me a teddy. I was playing too to win him one.
"Come on!" He says in frustration as the dart misses the last balloon on his half.
"YES!" I cheer as i pop my last balloon, excitedly looking towards Aaron who throws his last dart and it hits the balloon, popping it.

He turns towards me and lifts me off the ground spinning me around and I smile as he lowers me back down. The worker hands us both relatively big teddies which we take and swap over. We walk hand in hand back to his car.

Aaron had just dropped me back home and has left for the airport. I'm not excited to be spending nearly a week away from him but at least he's going to be back in time for the gala.

A WEEK LATER, NIGHT OF THE GALA

Aaron got back last night and surprised me by bringing Jim and Harry back with him. They were all asleep and I woke up early so I decided to make them breakfast. As I was singing to myself in the kitchen whilst i was cooking my eggs i felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist, i leant back into his grasp and placed my hands over his.

"I missed you so much" He sighs as he rests his chin on top of my head. I also sigh.
"Me too" I say and he kisses my head and steps away from me, moving to help me set up the plates. Just then Jim walks into the kitchen yawning.
"I've got serious jet lag" He says mid yawn and I see Harry behind him.
"Me too" Harry replies

"Anything fun happening today?" Jim asks and I nod
"We have the FBI gala" I say and he nods
"I hope you kids have fun!" He says
"You both have to come" Aaron says and I turn around to face him.
"I didn't know you could do that?" I say and he nods
"Everyone gets one plus one each" He says and I grin
"Yes guys please come!" I say and they both look at each other before smiling.

"Of course we will come!" Harry says and I hug him
"Yay!"
"Plus you have to be there to see Aaron win Bau agent of the year" I say and Aaron furrows his brows at me.
"How are you so sure i'll win?" He asks
"Call it intuition" I shrug

"What time are you off to get ready with the girls?" He asks
"In two hours, it's already 12 and it starts at 6" I reply
"Why on earth do you need four hours to get ready?" Jim asks and I laugh
"We need to look beautiful Jim" I pat his back

"I'm going to go shower" Aaron says as he stands up and quickly pecks my lips.
